I am shocked that so few people have watched this! This is one of the best Ted Talks. Don't let the heavy accent deter you. And there was some very funny stuff that the people failed to get. Very insightful.

I would say a much under rated talk by an educated mind. It's hard to get content like this is TEDx as so many undeserved people are using this platform to showcase themselves and utter nonsense topics than share knowledge. Good work by this man.

Very informative, and beautifully presented. The key take away for me as young countries in Asia and Africa and elsewhere struggle to provide economic opportunities to their youth is to impart the attitude and self-confidence (and bit of ecosystem support) to take half-chances. In India at least, we have been trained to deify Dhoni, but not think of analyzing and emulating the Dhonis. Thanks for showing the way. Best wishes Pavan. I have always found in you a zeal to be creative and useful whenever I have met you, albeit long ago.

I think they did laugh, because you can see him smiling in response to the audience...it's just that we're only getting the very focused sound from his headset microphone. It's simply not picking up the "background noise" of the audience.

Really liked the correlation between IQ, inhibition (attitude) and creativity. However, for that to happen organizations should adopt the culture where everyone is encouraged to express their ideas without fear of being reprimanded for speaking out their mind. In my opinion, that is what happens most of the time in majority of the organizations.
