The problem today is people don’t allow players to develop, everyone so focused on “win now” instead of “build for the future”. Bears need to keep Fields and let him develop and build chemistry w his teammates not turn him to a journeyman 3 years into his career, especially since his style of play is what’s popular in the league

The vast majority of QBs don’t make huge strides after year 3. Fields passed for 197 yards a game. He hasn’t earned it.

Your hate isn't even filled with any factual evidence almost all the great quarterbacks continuously progress throughout their careers. You know why Jordan love is successful because of the structure around him because he had like three seasons to sit behind a Hall of Famer and study and learn and perp himself for his moment Jordan already had the talent, but being able to be groomed is very meaningful to growth; Meanwhile a 21-year-old young adult was asked to be a savior of a franchise who has had very few successful quarterbacks and at the current time when he was drafted had a lame duck head coach who only drafted Justin so that he could keep his job, then comes in a new regime who wants to start over from scratch pretty much takes all the talent off the team so that he can draft his types of players that fit Poles's vision. Now you're a second-year quarterback that's playing with a first-time OC that just so happens used to be on the coaching staff of your arch rivals in the division. There is "nothing" that Justin can't do; there are some things that he hasn't done yet with consistency. That's where the decision should be made rather to keep or trade him the finances really don't come into play that much for the next couple of seasons they can also choose to draft a quarterback in this upcoming draft in the later rounds.

Exactly. As a Packers fan its so funny to me how the rest of the league has reacted to Jordan Love's rise with "how on earth could they pull 3 elite QBs in a row". Rodgers sat 3 years behind Brett, and Love did the same with Aaron. We're slow cooking them while the rest of the league is burning their draft capital on college QBs who they expect to perform immediately. Mahomes is also the perfect example of someone who wasn't immediately rushed into the starting job. And look at him now.

The fact that a lot of us want to keep Fields should say a lot. It's not like Mitch, where we knew he was done. If you've watched every Bears game over the last 3 seasons, you would know that the Bears were fielding the worst team in franchise history for 2 of those years. You would also know that the only reason a lot of those games during that historic losing streak/defensive debacle were close was because of Fields. Mind you, the Bears are still in the middle of a rebuild. And just when it seems like management is finally putting together a team that can win, a team where Fields can flourish, they just get rid of him? And taking Justin and Caleb out of the debate, if you keep Fields you also get MHJ/Nabers, multiple extra 1st-3rd round picks, and a team's best player for trading out of #1. You don't get any of that if you draft Caleb. Plugging a new QB into a situation where there's a dozen more pressing issues with the team isn't going to fix anything. Continuing to build the team will fix things, though. Also, the only reason the team missed the playoffs was because of Flus and Getsy, yet Flus deserves a 2nd chance a Fields doesn't? 3 historic collapses where we were up multiple scores in the 4th quarter (Denver, Detroit, Cleveland) where the coaching staff completely screwed us.

The Bears played well and lost so many close games that some plays were questionable. Justin Fields does what he is told by the coaches but gives him someone that Justin can rely on and give him the best structure of his play style.

Seth Rollins is right, the Bears need to keep Justin Fields, they should trade the first pick and if it allows them to get the receivers or the players they want, go ahead and do it, but that’s the only dilemma, how far do you want to go down? I mean even if they don’t get Marvin Harrison Junior they can still get a great receiver… I wouldn’t mind Malik and Ricky Pearsall, or Xavier Leggette and Brock Bowers, or Brock Bowers and Vicky Pearsall… I’m in there’s so many different combinations. And there are so many good receivers they don’t have to stay in the top five but if they can get the player they want then go for it. But you keep Justin Fields because you don’t start over again after two seasons… If the Bears want to prove they can develop a quarterback then why not develop Justin Fields becausethere aren’t many talented quarterbacks like him and if you can’t develop a talented player like Justin Fields then why can you develop anyone else? They need to keep going with Justin because it’s the right thing to do, it’s a smart thing to do. And they have to prove it, they have to prove they can develop a quarterback starting with Justin.

If they keep fields draft O-Line defensive players and use that 1st Rd pick on a WR or another ready made offensive weapon

As a bears fan I think it all depends because we have the 1st pick and a QB is projected yo go 1st overall so if that guy is as good as people say he is perhaps way better then fields ever could then trade him. I personally would ethier trade that 1st pick to a star player available like Justin Jefferson or draft a different postion at that pick. As far as the Super Bowl, I'm going chiefs

They allowed the quarterback to develop in Philadelphia, Buffalo, Baltimore etc., other quarterbacks who they gave up on, they were able to have success because they were developed and they played with the right people in the right situation. Justin Fields needs an opportunity to finish his story in Chicago. He is getting better, he has excellent skills, he has the talent they just need more around him and the right playcalling… If they start over again it just proves they can’t develop a quarterback.

Keep Fields… Simply put, Fields have progressed in spite of the sabotage Poles as General Manager done to him. As a fan of this team, but on the outside looking in, He has never gotten a chance, because year one Poles didn’t do anything to help Fields. He didn’t make significant moves, he hired of defensive minded coach, and he hired an inexperienced offensive coordinator who eventually got fired… Like I said in a different video, the only reason why this front office would give up on Fields is simply because of money, and it’s not even close… you give up on Fields because you want to reset the salary for a new quarterback.. which is stupid for a few reasons… because if Williams is bad and Fields is good elsewhere, everyone and their mother is going to look absolutely stupid… Williams if good (highly doubtful) will command up to 55-65 million a year where Fields you can get for 35-45 million when his contract comes up.. And if you are trading the #1 overall pick, there’s no guarantee that Washington or New England will be good out the gate year one… you could have another top 5-12 pick in the draft… and with how NFL Scouts and so called draft experts salivate over at least one QB as a once in a lifetime talent since 2018, you as a GM can chose not to accept Fields’ option..

You’re confusing new GM Ryan Poles with old GM fired last year Ryan Pace. Poles is going to keep Fields as that five game win streak and the addition of Montez Sweat to end the season and the fans chanting Fields name changes everything. But Ryan Pace is who you’re referring to not Ryan Poles the new GM hired in 2023.
