Fields definitely has weaknesses to his game but he’s a beast and can be a franchise QB if developed properly. Bears organization failed him like they have failed many others before him and will most likely fail Williams if they draft him. It’s not the QB, it’s the organization.

That Broncos game showed me everything I needed to know, this team should have been so much better this season. If Chicago sorted out their coaching situation earlier there’s no question this was a playoff team and no question about Fields future. Would hate to see him go, but honestly, as a fan, feel like he deserves better than our poverty franchise 😢

We just saw 32 NFL teams rate him and he is valued at a 2025 6th round pick.

Almost 2600 yards, 16 TD, 6 Rush TD, and just 9 INT (2 on Hail Marys). All this despite missing 4.5 games due to injury. He is special!!!

4 on hail marys, actually. 2 during the Browns game and 2 in earlier games this season. So in reality, he has 16 TDs to 5 legit INTs in 13 games. He finished the season with 2500 passing yards and 600 rush yards. With his averages per game, if he stayed healthy and played all 17 games, he would've finished the season with 3300+ pass yards and 800+ rush yards with around 24 passing TDs and 8 rushing TDs. Again, that's based off of his per-game averages. That's a really good season, especially for a QB of a Bears team that wasn't good for most of the year.

Those are terrible stats what's are you talking about and he only had 4 rushing tds. 20 overall tds. For instance Desmond ridder played the exact same amount of games às Justin Fields and ridder had 2,800 yards 17 total tds (3 less then Fields) 12 passing 5 rushing.

He also could've thrown for 3500 of he didn't have 3 games were he couldn't reach 200 yards and 2 games of under 100. He had only ONE 300 yard game all year and only 3 games were he cracked 250. 4 games wouldn't have gotten him 1000 yards

He honestly looks like what he is and that is a great college QB. You can't ALWAYS wait for guys to be "open" in the NFL, you just can't. His pocket presense or awareness is just awful and I don't care what anyone says, no amount of coaching can fix that, you either have it or you don't. He will go to another team and have some nice highlight plays but he is who he is and that is a QB who can't play from the pocket consistentaly enough to be a franchise QB, and no you can't just roll him out all the time and make the defenses job that much easier by cutting the field in half basically. Take the blinders off already, enough is enough. Sorry for the long rant but he just doesn't have what it takes. Respect your opinion but just completely disagree. 🐻⬇️ ✌️✝️

Pocket presence and awareness is awful? 😂 how do you think he evades so much would be sacks , half the time he gets sacked is a line melt down or more often coverage sacks. He is actually pretty good in the pass with decent pocket time , fields is a vertical passer not a hitch and out route QB which Getsy failed to understand.

Steeler fan here. Hope and pray Fields sits behind Russ this year and learns much as possible and become one of the best in the league. He has so much potential and I'm glad he came to a good organization to help him proceed to be the best... never have I ever been more excited for a QB! Here We Go.

Justin Fields is only 24 years old and still has a lot of work to do to improve his game. He finished his season with 2,562 passing yards, 16 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. We don’t know what the future holds for him, so let’s see what happens. He does appreciate the opportunity to play for the Bears organization.

As a Bears fan, I hope they don't get rid of Justin Fields. He's our guy, he just needs to make quicker decisions on the field. The Bears will regret it if they get rid of Fields for an over-hyped rookie. Mark my words. 🐻⬇❤

Fields is the guy for me. If it's not with the Bears I hope he wins a Superbowl ring somewhere else, somewhere that he's more appreciated. I feel that strongly about him that even if he lands with the Packers, or another team I hate, I'll be wishing for him to succeed. Every time I watch this I keep thinking, really? You really want to get rid of a guy that can do these things? His ability to escape, his ability to throw the ball in windows, different angles, he makes so many difficult plays look easy… And you want to give up and start over again with a quarterback that has questionable character And runs away from problems? I mean seriously, continuity matters, you have to keep working with a player who has so much talent, you don’t give up after two seasons as a starter… You go to year three and you see what happens after you acquire more talent and then you can make a really smart decision but what I see is a quarterback, if given proper guidance, can become a great quarterback for the Bears.it’s a pretty easy decision for me…

If the Bears decide to move on from Fields, I will trust Ryan Poles and his assessment. Personally, however, I think that would be a big mistake. People really don't understand how depleted of talent the Bears still are. We still don't have good OL depth. We don't have a competent center. The talent dropoff between Moore and Mooney, and Kmet and Tonyan is staggering. I know it sounds like excuses, but Fields absolutely can play, and not many QBs can overcome all these deficiencies at once. Fields still needs work, that much is certain. But this was always going to be a multi-year process when Ryan Poles took over and stripped down the roster. Not to mention that this dude is giving it his all each week and puts his body on the line. Love the kid, and hope he can continue to grow with the Bears.

fields lack of pocket awareness should scare you. Idk whos the QB coach but my god he should be banned from coaching football at any level. their #1 priority should be to improve his pass drop back footwork because its so slow, inconsistent every time and clumsy.

Highlights down 41-3 is crazy

Even some of the elite QBs can throw 3-4 INTs a game.

I still think he gets a little overrated by bears fans (especially before the season started) but he definitely earned at least another year as a starter

We "overrate" him because we watch the games and see what's actually going on. It's easy to look at a final score and blame the QB for a loss, but us Bears fans witnesses our defense give up 32 PPG for 15 straight games, and NFL record, while also having the 32nd ranked O Line and 30th ranked WR core during the 2022 season. He was the only person who was productive during that stretch, and he was the only reason the Bears were competitive in games while our defense was giving up all of those points every single week. Yet, the team finish the season going 7-6 since week 5, with 3 of those losses coming on absolute meltdowns by the coaches. The team let's Fields down more often than not, and that's why we want to keep him. Put an actual team around him and watch him flourish. He and Moore were the top ranked QB/WR duo this year. There's plenty of things you can point to that shows you why he's not the problem, nor has he ever been the problem.

He did say it would be a 3 year rebuild and I’m hoping that with Fields showing you that he can overcome a shitty OC and an oline that’s flim flamy that he can see this rebuild through as well.

lol throwing to wide open guys isnt evidence. the guy lacks awareness in the pocket and anything after his first read he folds. His drop back foot work is beyond horrendous. He could be so much better with good coaching but even then his lack of awareness will hold him back.

⁠@@EdBatelmao yeah you obviously don’t watch football, there’s plenty of in game film when he went through full 5 read progressions. Also there is plenty of tape showing fields throwing in tight windows also. Your take is like your pfp… cheeks 😂

@@treybrown4112 "plenty" lol you dont even have plenty of footage of the guy throwing for 250 yards in a game. i could literally ask you for examples and you wont have anymore than a handfull. keep coping over a guy who has 41 turnovers in 40 games.
