No QB can survive with defenders leaping the A gaps... none. JF is a fine football player and QB and continues to grow in the pocket, he just needs some O-Line stability and NFL quality OC, something a bit more veteran and experienced. It's really hard to win a race with a transmission that hangs and a tune with holes all over it. It just never finds the right gear when it needs to, and then stutters.

It was sad to see the oline and dline get bullied by green bay. Chase is right that the teams weakness is still in the trenches and we definitely need at one more stud wide receiver. Good teams usually have two 1,000 yard receivers. Moore 1,365 & Mooney 414

That's likely Getsy's fault. Mooney's targets were cut in half between the turnover from Lazor to Getsy. You can't convince me that Mooney's play regressed from a 140 target 1000+ yard receiver to half that in one offseason. It's way more likely that Mooney was pushed out of the offensive game plan by Getsy. Or Getsy's scheme didn't allow Mooney to thrive. @@badlt5897

Spot on about Justin taking chances as a thrower as the season went on, and on top of that he threw only 1 interception since his return from injury. (I don’t count the Hail Mary interception that Mooney should’ve caught). P.S. Can you believe Justin STILL has credit for 2 interceptions in that game despite the first Hail Mary attempt being a clear drop. The league really does him no favors whatsoever.

The trade down will bring 8 to 10 draft picks spread over 3 years (2024, 2025 & 2026) that will include 3 !st Rounders: 1 each in 2024, 2025 & 2026. Not to mention this has been a down year for many qbs because of these new implemented game plans from dcs. These new schemes they have come up with this season have done wonders to stop top offenses. Shoutout Vic Fangio for that. Justin played well. On paper the line looked good with pieces to develop but the play was very suspect. You have rbs that aren’t as good or experienced in pass pro. Lots of fields sacks are coverage sacks. So often you’ll see the wideouts be absolutely locked up bc the skill is lacking to beat man or the play call doesn’t beat the coverage add that to the limited time he has in the pocket and you’re up for disaster. He’s shown great flashes and has developed so much as a passer. You want to give him help? Use the picks this draft to get him some studs and weapons (there are a lot in this draft). Watch him grow with some actual weapons. Moving on from him would reset the clock. And now you’re stuck with a rookie qb who will face the same challenges Justin faced this year. With the same weapons Justin had when you could just acquire so many more picks and assets trading that first for a haul.

There’s also nothing about these other young quarterbacks in the draft that impresses me more than Justin Fields… They haven’t shown anything that Justin Fields can’t do better… Justin has a really high ceiling, he’s always been a pocket passer, only recently has he shown his ability to run at the highest level… Elite level Running, elite arm strength, and he’s getting better at accuracy and timing… His delivery is also shortening, you can see it with his motion less backwards motion behind the head and more forward motion from the ear forward… Quicker release, better timing, so the receiver doesn’t have to slow down… He’s only going to get better and betterand we need to keep him here in Chicago

It actually isn’t difficult at all. We just have to accept one reality. The best a Bears QB is capable of playing is average. This is a fact of life the same way gravity is. If you accept this, you can be like the 49ers. If you don’t accept this, you will be in purgatory for wasting first round picks on average-at-best players. It also helps that there are two generational players in this draft and the Bears can get both of them and they are both pass catchers that make a foursome that has a mismatch on 100% of the plays they are all on the field for. There is a reason why Fields’ measures when throwing to Cole/DJ are very different than when he throws to the rest of the team

All 3 obviously but priority should be playcaller. Very close second is better protection. That being said, I still think the “better weapon” part needs to come first in the draft because of how good Marvin Harrison, Jr. is. One more stud WR to help Justin out, along with a playcaller that calls more bootlegs and RPOs as opposed to spamming screens, HB dives, and go routes, and that will relieve a lot of the pressure on Justin while we get the o-line sorted out. Doesn’t mean o-line is less of a priority, just that it’s gonna take the longest to fix.

Chase, obviously you’ve been in the league for quite a while, you’ve seen quarterbacks come and go, I like that you support Justin Field, and I like that you recognize his abilities, unlike some of these Chicago Bears media fools who automatically point to the negatives which really aren’t all his fault anyway instead of focusing on the positives… How hard is it for you to be a quarterbacks coach or OC? And would you ever consider becoming an OC? I mean you obviously have the skill set, the experience, how the hell would you turn Justin Field into a great quarterback when the talent is there but obviously he needs more weapons and a little bit better protection… I’m just curious as to what would keep you from becoming an OC? Do you not want to, is it more difficult and more stressful than you would like to deal with or is a lot harder than you, then we assume… Because everybody that plays Madden or some type of football online Thinks we can choose the right place and score touchdowns right? How the hell would you do it? Just curious… As always I’m so happy that you make videos that are pro Justin fields, and not the negative bullshit that I see all the time… I don’t know why Dan and david, are usually so negative… But they only talk about one side of the problem… Because most of it is not just Field, and if he fails in Chicago I’m not blaming Justin Fields, I’m blaming this regime and I think that’s fair.

I mean of course she’s not perfect yet and of course she’s going to make mistakes but is it really about his delivery? Because there are some throws With the ball is out of his hands really quickly, and some that are not but I think it’s a matter of the situation. But other concerns made by the Chicago Bears media and some concerns by the national media a bit overblown? He will definitely make them regret it the rest of the time he spends in the league. Which they deserve no less if they cant see what they have. He is a great leader, very intelligent, ever evolving, and hard working QB. Caleb is not the same. Caleb's statements clearly portray he is entitled and feels he calls the shots. His attitude and entitlement will destroy this team. They need a QB that will take the hits in stride, get back up and keep fighting. That is Fields.

If he can average 240 pass yards per game and 50 rush yards per game it should put him elite company. If you break down his stats on a per game basis then project what he could have done he'd be just under the elite QB's. The Bears need about a 12% increase in offensive production in terms of yards to be a top 5 offense. JF grew his passing yards per game by 30% this year and I expect growth of 15% to be reasonable which accounts for the 12% you need. This doesn't account for the off season moves the Bears might make such as a lineman or a receiver which could account for further growth in production of the offense. This all requires the right person to put it together though.

IMHO if Justin keeps improving his footwork he will be put himself into the discussion as a top 5 QB & given that the best QBs are in the AFC the Bears would be very foolish to swap Justin for an unproven rookie. In my tip toes I feel it that trading Justin will be one of the biggest mistakes the Bears franchise will have ever made.

It just boggles the mind how they can watch these games, rewatch them look at all the great things he can do, but then at the end of the season they have forgotten all the good things just can do, and focus only on the negatives which is really ridiculous and Unfair. He finally has a little more talent, things are just starting to look good and on the upswing for the Bears, and now most of the Chicago media is already assuming a trade is going to happen as if Caleb Williams is suddenly the best quarterback without any real reason considering he’s only played in college… And yet they seem so sure of themselves and they seem so sure of Caleb Williams that he’s going to be a better quarterback it’s really puzzling because you have proof of Justin Fields improvement everybody knows his situation, and yet they just forget about it as if it’s not important. I don’t know it’s just sickening to me. How impatient they are as if two years, two years? Is enough to decide whether or not to move… after watching several quarterbacks like in Philadelphia, Buffalo, Baltimore, Seattle, Tampa Bay, etc. etc. Quarterbacks that had only two or three years and yet everybody wants to start over again and these were quarterbacks with a much better situation than Justin. But finally after another season and new weapons to add to their roster, the quarterbacks showed far more improvement. Adding more talent obviously helps but it also helps to have another year for the quarterback to grasp the offense, for the team to build chemistry and so on. You can’t assume that two or three years is enough time, but it also depends on the situation. and it’s very clear that the Bears and Justin fields haven’t had enough time together to make such a difficult decision and make it look like a simple one because it’s not. And if those guys can improve and finally become franchise quarterbacks why is it so hard to believe that Justin, who’s got so much talent and even more up and the ability to improve a lot more and yet he’s just overlooked and undervalued by so many people who are supposedly experts. And then of course you have the intelligent experts who believe it takes time, it takes more talent, it takes more understanding of an offense but sometimes getting a new play collar is the real issue. And I believe that’s one of the main issues because I don’t believe their season can be blamed on only the quarterback, I think that’s really shortsighted and completely ridiculous. And if they want to go away from Justin and draft another quarterback I won’t be surprised if the Bears made a terrible decision and look far worse in a year or two… I just don’t want that to happen I would rather have them stick with Justin Fields, have them struggle a little bit because it’s going to happen, and then figure it out towards the middle of the season. I still have no doubts about Justin at all and if they give them the opportunity to finish this out… I believe without a doubt he’s going to be a great quarterback for the Chicago franchise. It would be heartbreaking not to be able to see him finish this movie… I think a lot of Bears fans want to see how this movie ends and would hate it if Justin Fields went to New England, Las Vegas, or Atlanta, I would hate to see Justin Fields go elsewhere before we can finish this movie… It would be heartbreaking to see him have success elsewhere like New England… If you go somewhere else and looks great… Then all those people who want to deny him the opportunity to finally get this team going with enough talent and the right play collar… That would really fukking suck 🥵🤮 just stay in Chicago please… We don’t need to start over, we just need to finish Justin right when he’s starting to get so much better as this team also gets so much better. We need to finish this movie with Justin Fields as the main star

What really bugs me is that all the Chicago Bears media who claimed to be Justin supporters are now saying they should trade him to get Caleb Williams when they saw what we saw, his ability to get better, we saw special throws, we saw some incredible scrambles, incredible Runs when he breaks away from 320 pound defensive tackles or defensive ends, he’s able to turn something into nothing and sometimes a touchdown… He’s able to throw deep balls with accuracy he’s able to throw slants and out routes without problems, he’s getting better and better at releasing the ball without bringing it back behind his head, he’s delivery is quicker, and faster and more on time and target… And you see him running so hard to his left making accurate throws to Kmet , making great throws to our players who drop the ball… Not his fault… And then you see him get sacked because our offensive line has too many injuries, not his fault… Of course he’s not perfect, he still has a lot of room to grow and he’s still got a few things to learn… But you add some more weapons especially Harrison, Brock Bowers, Keon Coleman or whomever… And this team can be scary next season… And I appreciate that you say that Chase, because it seems to me that so many people in Chicago, mostly the media and some in the national media, are spouting out this BS negative that the Bears are going to get rid of Justin Fields to get Caleb Williams just because it resets the clock? Really? you care more about resetting the clock instead of developing an extremely talented quarterback who can do everything really well? If these three other quarterbacks in the NFL that everybody was question Ing were drafted and then sent away after two or three seasons… What then? And Justin is just as talented as all of them if not more talented… He’s like a combination of jail and hurts, Josh Allen, and Lamar Jackson… And he can be better than all of them I absolutely believe that, it’s just a matter of talent, playcalling, coaching and experience… Reasonable, intelligent people who watch the games and don’t only think about the negative bullshit can see what I see and what you see… And I always felt that way from the beginning… so thank you so much Chase I appreciate your videos and I’m totally with you and I’d be damn upset if they traded him… I mean I’ve trusted Ryan this far and if he decides to trade him away for another quarterback… It’s going to be really hard for me to move on.

And you said earlier that it would be a difficult decision for Ryan Poles… I don’t believe that… I think it should be a simple decision, I think what he sees is a kid with high character, high morality level, high work ethic, a kid who wants to be great, a kid who will not settle for anything but greatness and I believe he will be that quarterback in Chicago that we deserve it just takes time in Chicago Bears fans are so damn impatient, they need to understand how Cubs fans have felt for more than 100 years… But they don’t seem to get it… I mean we were in the Super Bowl not too long ago I mean it’s still a while but it’s not like 100 years ago shit… we’ve had good teams in the 90s early 2000s and just a few years ago the Bears were in the playoffs with Mitch… Not great but still it’s not like we haven’t seen success we just want sustain success, and I believe we have the quarterback to do it… And I believe Ryan pace finally Overed his legacy… This is his legacy and I believe he did a great job… A lot of his draft picks were good… Not every draft pick is gonna work and not every coaching choice is going to work but at the time you would think OK a guy from KC teaching Patrick Mahomes why wouldn’t you be a good head coach right? shit doesn’t always work, but Vic Fangio was fantastic, I wish we could’ve kept him and found Sean Payton over here or perhaps how I even wanted Mike Shanahan, because if that dude can still coach in Seattle then so can Shanahan and he’s from the Chicago area and he really wants to be a Bears head coach… I still think he would be a great choice but that’s not up to me… He’s got a great mind for football which is wild Kyle is as good as he is… He’s learned the shit from his dad… So no I don’t think it’s a difficult choice… You can’t compare these college kids with a three year quarterback who is only been a starter for two seasons… So you can’t count his first year that’s bullshit… and yeah I’m tired of this narrative over and over I hear it all the time I’m sick of it I don’t want to trade him, how can they possibly think Caleb Williams is going to be better? Like I said he gets guys open because he scrambles like Johnny douche bag and because guys are open he makes throw… It’s about the same thing…every now and then he makes difficult plays… But Justin does that every single game he makes some ridiculous throws that you think holy shit… He’s finally showing us what he’s capable of… There’s no way I want to get rid of him… No fucking way
