SET A MOUSE TRAP - HOW TO
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I show you how to set a mouse trap. The pesky Pest Will be gone before you know it. Setting a mouse trap with Tomcat Mouse Traps is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Materials Needed:
Tomcat Mouse Trap
Bait (e.g., peanut butter, chocolate, or dried fruit)
Gloves (optional)
Steps:
Choose the Right Location:
Identify areas with mouse activity. Common places include along walls, near food sources, and in dark corners. Mice tend to travel along walls, so placing the trap parallel to the wall is often effective.
Prepare the Mouse Trap:
If your Tomcat Mouse Trap is pre-baited, you're ready to go. If not, add a small amount of bait. Peanut butter, chocolate, or dried fruit are attractive options.
Handle with Care:
If you prefer, wear gloves while handling the trap. This helps minimize your scent on the trap, making it more appealing to mice.
Set the Trap:
Tomcat Mouse Traps typically have a simple setting mechanism. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer to set the trap. It usually involves pulling back a lever or arm until it clicks into place.
Place the Bait:
Apply a small amount of bait to the bait cup provided on the trap. Be careful not to touch the bait with your bare hands to avoid transferring your scent.
Position the Trap:
Place the trap where you've observed mouse activity. Ensure it's along the mouse's natural path, and consider placing it against a wall.
Secure the Trap:
Ensure the trap is stable and won't be easily knocked over. Mice are cautious creatures, and they may avoid a trap that appears unstable.
Check the Trap Regularly:
Monitor the trap regularly, especially in the first few hours after setting it. If a mouse is caught, dispose of it promptly.
Reset or Replace:
If the trap is reusable, reset it after catching a mouse. If it's a single-use trap, replace it with a new one.
Dispose of Captured Mice:
If the trap is successful, use gloves to handle the trap and dispose of the mouse. Follow local regulations for proper disposal.
Clean and Reuse:
If the trap is reusable, clean it thoroughly before setting it again. Remove any traces of bait scent and reset it for continued use.
Always follow safety guidelines and the specific instructions provided by the manufacturer when using mouse traps. Additionally, consider combining trap placement with other preventive measures, such as sealing entry points, to achieve effective mouse control.

1)I would imagine, no HOPE!, a "certified pest control" person would know how to set a mouse trap without coming to KZread-versity and 2)this gadget is sold retail in a pack of 4 to regular folk like me - and apparently you, too 'cause you opened it up on camera - not in a lot or case of 100, as it might be for a certified pest control company...? IJS 🤷🏽♀️ BUT THANKS FOR THE LESSON! Guess now I'm CERTIFIED, yes? 😂

What if you have a whole household of mice... 👀
I'm not a certified pest control person but I did build radar systems for the military for their airplanes for 20 years. I'm going in.
