Serving Those Who Serve: Island Park, NY Firefighters
Watch as firefighters, who have been busy serving and sacrificing for their community in the Hurricane Sandy aftermath, are blessed when Samaritan's Purse comes to serve them and their families. For more information on how you can get involved, visit www.samaritanspurse.org.

I live in Oceanside, but lived in Island Pk for yrs.,saw familiar faces & a young man who went to W.Hempstead w/my son...still shockd as I visited friend's in Island Pk after hurricane. Our volunteer firefighter's are God's angels on earth. As 4 Samaritan'sPurse, I went there when they were in Lynbrook,Vineyard Church & going out from there.A phenomenal group who fed me, gave me OTC meds, hugged & prayed w/me.Still on Austin Blvd.,behind Full Gospel Church?Bless you all 4 helping, praying for all..
Always brings back memories of what happened. But shows also the amount of help from people from all over and for Samaritan's Purse helping my family members in Island Park from a firefighter from East Rockaway who has family in all the damaged area's. And it was nice to see a smile on my son James face talking about the help he had cleaning the house and basement with all of Samaritans Purse help. Thanks
