    Many videos have people just regurgitating the same talking points it seems. You are giving more useful, tangible information and tools. Plus, your delivery is more upbeat and energizing while I find many to be slow and even energetically draining somehow.

    Ah, thanks Janie. To create something useful and tangible a person has to have embodied the info. You're reminding me of what I suspected: many people are simply repeating what they've mentally learned without taking the time to learn how to live it. Thanks for the reflection.

    Thank you, Caroline, for this video and amazing explanation. As a SPP, I found your video quite valuable. People always say to me that whenever I talk about what I like, I become more attractive. I think I need to practice talking to myself to love myself more.

    Thank you for this video! Feels good to know I am designed to talk a lot ;) helps me to allow myself to talk more and be with the right people or other sounding boards. On my way I somehow learned that I am a burden if I talk to much about me or my thoughts, that's why I turned to my diary a lot when I was a teenager. Helped me so much when I had low periods.

    Wow! After all this years, now I know that I'm just designed to talk! :D Thank you so much! Recently I've noticed that by talking I "regulate myself" and it's very obvious to see what condition (mental and physical) I am by the way and quantity I talk. When I can't talk I just suffocate and starting to feel stucked :( Annoying is fact that still have to wait for invitation to gest the best quality myself talking xD

    I love the way you've explained this Kasia: that talking is the way you regulate yourself and that you can tell how you're doing mentally and physically by the way you talk. Sooooo important for you (& all SPPs, plus all Projectors, actually) to have relationships where you feel safe and able to talk out loud. Remember you don't need an invite to speak every single time if you're in a relationship where you already feel seen.

    Thanks for sharing, Heather. The way we are brought up and the experiences we have as child (our "nurture") heavily influences how well we express our "nature". I find that any child who is told to "stop talking so much" or any such remark from a parent or caregiver, either once too strongly or over and over again, has a hard time speaking as often as they're designed. Too often children of years past were told "children should be seen and not heard". I personally was called a "chatterbox" a lot which definitely caused me to swallow my words and I've had to re-find my courage to express myself freely. In short, if you find anything in Human Design that tells you you're designed to do something that you're not doing the place to look as to why the discrepancy is your lived experiences. The solution (if you want to live out the highest potential of this incarnation) is to decondition and make it safe to speak and be heard. xxx

    This is me, sadly I only found out age almost 60. It resonates so much and I recognise that quality of voice you mention, though I have not heard it in myself for a few years now. I used to have loads of people to talk to and bounce ideas around with and now there is no one, which is pretty sad. I have been talking to myself a lot in the last few weeks and making recordings, I am not sure I can get to my 'truth' just talking to myself, but it's all I have for now.

    @artyjane I often have clients in their 60's and lately even some in their 70's. It's never too late to start. Work with what you have, love. And then ask for more of what you want (people to bounce ideas off and talk things through). And if you know how to do tapping or have some other really great (effective and gentle) process for "deconditioning" then I would make that the priority. Your future is allowed to be better. And it's possible. xxx

At least knowing I am a Projector helps me to feel less bad about being alone and stops me trying to push hard to change everything by myself. I feel I am at a huge transition point, I have done so much deep healing and trauma work, something has to shift.

    I am so with you on this @artyjane. I've been experiencing a bit of isolation as well. With my children having left the nest a few years ago, and our society being so couples-oriented. And though I continue to search for community and nuturing friendships both locally here in Seattle and online, I have developed a lovely practice each morning of "checking in" with myself, talking out loud, in the quiet of early morning hours. The resulting clarity of intention and then action has been startling.

    @@RobertSFrank Sounds really interesting. I too have been cultivating my inner connection much more, regardless of what is happening externally, and it is bringing some happiness. I find myself talking to myself a lot and have made quite a few changes. I am curious what actions you have been led to.

    Hi Caroline, just found this video. Thank you, I found it to be one of the most informative and concise videos i've watched on SPP. I'm confused on how the SPP waits for the invitation if they hold their truth and direction through speaking it. Would that mean they need to wait for the invitation and then listen to themselves on whether to move towards it. Or would the speaking of what is true be the invite itself? Im unsure. Thank you :)

    You're welcome! Thanks for the kind words. Your question is a good one. Short answer: Receive invite first THEN talk about it with someone who will listen and see if your body is a yes or no. And I might make a video on this in the coming months as all versions of Projectors always have questions re. The Invite. (If you subscribe and hit the bell you'll be notified when I make new videos. Option, if it's helpful). Meanwhile, there's more info on waiting for the invite in the self paced online course I made last (?) year. There should be a link to it in the description. It will probably help you get an even better feel for the process. Again, options!

    My chart says "g center g projected, right angel cross vessel of love." Is "g projected" the same as "self projected?" I endlessly write in journals, speak in tongues or talk out loud to god. Im mostly alone. When im with others im usually quiet but speak up when something spurs me.

    Hi Kimberly. YES! G Projected is the same thing. (Thanks for asking. I've just updated the title so others with the same chart print out can find this video more easily). The "G" centre is also known as the "Self" centre, hence the confusion!

    If you're living by yourself and doing the self-talk practices. Should they be skipped on days you feel emotionally depressed/dark?

    Not necessarily, Adam. But two things come to mind when you ask this question: 1. It might be wise to notice what you discover as you talk to yourself during these depressed/dark days. Notice but maybe not act. If you wait until you're having a better day and see if the same things you found on the dark days still feel true when you feel lighter, then it might be a wiser time to act. Remember, it's all an experiment, so experiment - but do with this curiosity and compassion for yourself. 2. As a Self Projected Projector, unless you have a LOT of individual circuitry (Google it if you don't know which gates are in this circuit) then it might be that these dark days you're experiencing have little to do with your own design (because, as an SPP you have an Undefined or Open Solar Plexus, so you're designed to be more emotionally neutral when alone, rather than having emotional waves like us Emotionally Defined people). So you're likely holding a lot of old pain from past experiences. Thus, it's probably more helpful for you to put your time, energy and attention on things that will help you resolve the pain rather than on HD. I personally do this work together, at the same time. I deepen into my understanding of my own HD most days and do trauma-informed healing work (using things like EFT tapping and others) most days as well. It's the same thing I recommend for my clients. BUT if someone comes to me and they're REALLY struggling emotionally/mentally/physically and they only have capacity to learn and practise ONE thing, then we start with a strong focus on the healing work, with HD to come later (or drip fed, a tiny bit at a time, in between the healing work). I invite you to take from this anything that is useful and applicable to you. I don't know your history or your life circumstances, so these are general recommendations/insights. As with all things in Human Design, and in life: take what's useful, discard the rest.

On the intake form, you can tell me a bit about what you already know about HD and the problem you're most focused on solving right now. (Note, all coaching is in Aust.     You're designed to talk about whatever is in your heart to say. However, SPP's who were told to shut up a lot in childhood can become really shut down and closed off from their heart in order to PROTECT their precious heart. You may not find your authentic expression overnight. In fact, if this feels weird/hard/ridiculous then you won't. Be gentle and patient with yourself. And know that using a deconditioning tool to unravel the crap you've experienced/heard will help your body to feel safer again to express what it truly wants to say.
