It'd be awesome if the hack had more support - but it seems that they've just gone and done a runner. - give it a shot. We've shown you in this video how we did it- but it obviously needs tweaking. Remember this isn't our hack- and we don't know if there's ever going to be an update to it.

Beside enjoying the content of the video, that as always it is awesome, I do enjoy that deep aside voice you made for me. Lol

I love this mod, and I came up with a few things I hope to see in the future. - More emulators like sms, nes, gb, etc. - Custom themes. - Obviously better box art templates. - The ability to change the language of the menu.

tbh it just needs a bit of a refresh. Getting the art to fit is currently totally hit and miss- as is the compatibility for the gamegear roms. There were a few bangers that didn't fully work, so I'm guessing the emulator also needs a refresh, too. Thanks for the comment btw :-) Welcome

Have you tried to run SMS stuff on it? I just want to know if the non-white GGMs can run it or not.

How do you restore the backup of the original firmware that is backed up during the install?

I've noticed that the new Aleste GG Micro has two Master System games on it, can this thing load Master System roms as well?

It *might* be able to, but this thing is literally *tiny*. Might not even be able to push out the resolution of a Master System. I can give it a shot later on for you.

@@TeamPandory - Yeah, that'd be cool...because I just ordered one to hack it and it's in the mail from Japan at the moment, I also ordered a Big Window to help a bit. It's resolution is 240x180 and the SMS resolution is 256x192, so it might work since the games run on the same basic architecture...it'd be so AWESOME to have Phantasy Star on the tiny screen along with PS Gaiden and PS Adventure!

Can't seem to get the games once selected to bring anything up. Downloaded game gear gg files but nothing. Just makes a noise when I select them then goes blank. Maybe wrong game files? I'll keep trying but maybe my game gear micro is now a display only item. easy clip to follow as always

Could be that the cfw is pretty new and bugging out at the filenames. Try giving a simple filename without brackets etc.

The google drive that was in the description is gone, so i'm unable to access the files

is there any way to "dump" the rom's included in the console from the original firmware so that I can use them on my computer or keep them on my console after installing the cfw?

When installing the CFW you are first asked if you want to backup the original fw, in case you want to restore it later

Still have no luck with detecting the device.. maybe driver installation is failed, the panel always closed itself when installing (I'm using Windows10). Then everytime I plugging the device and press GGM CFW install, the cmd panel open then closed in a blink. "3.Bootkit is running. Please wait." then "Wait 60sec for a secure connection." always like that... :(

Sounds like security/ firewalls/ anti-virus etc is up. Or you're not using a decent enough cable / USB port... Or you haven't ran it in administrator mode. So many things that it could be. :-(

How to restore the GGM? After Jailbreaking, my GGM is stuck on start screen, apparently everything went wrong because the tool cannot connect to server

HE CONSEGUIDO REPARARLA : yo he conseguido REPARARLA ggm bloqueada en arranque de esta forma: 1 borrar todos los archivos nand de la carpeta dev(nanda,nandb,nandc,nandd,nande nandf) con filezilla client sin desconectar abrir cfw ultima version y restaurar una copia de seguridad sin desconectar abrir cfw la primera version e instalar el cfw cuando termine apagar y encender y saldran las ranuras si quereis instalar el ultimo cfw volveis a restaurar copia de seguridad original y despues instalais cfw asi es como la he ARREGLADO

@@TeamPandory He's Russian. Does these really weird games that are kinda like a mix between River City Ransom and Yakuza with some old skool John woo stuff thrown in. They're aren't supposed to be that great but they look pretty interesting! I'll have to check out those point and clicks you mentioned! Okay Technobabylon looks right up my alley. Thanks man!

@@TeamPandory I did, but I'm not sure if it dumped the backup successfully since it is just 10MB in size. Tried to restore it with your video, but still stuck on the splash screen rn :(

10mb is the correct size... Try maybe using right click > run as administrator, or using another computer. There's a possibility that you need to pause a virus checker if you have one running

I thought the Game Gear Micro was hard coded so t would be difficult to hack
