I'm Catholic and this is currently my favorite song. It has applied to my life at times. If you think this is actually about Jesus Christ, you definitely live under a rock.

I love Seether this band helped me get through my depression with my divorce.

Forgot to mention to the people that are not married yet. If you really love one another get a 50/50 split prenop. I was married over ten years had our ups and downs thought we where forever. I never seen it coming of an unfaithful spouse.

Excellent song... excellent band...lyrics excellently worded. My all-time favorite band and one of my top favorite songs by them.

I believe in God, and I am here to tell you that this isn't a bashing against Jesus. It is about the singers ex-girlfriend that tried to slander him in the presses, and he is saying that she isn't Jesus, she shouldn't judge.

I'm a Christian, who likes Seether. I saw the title to this song and nearly died, but read the lyrics, and found that this is an awesome song about the people that give good Christians a bad name. I hate adding to debates, but here it goes. I'm a Christian, (and I love Seether!), and I read the title and thought "Oh no.." But then I actually LISTENED TO THE SONG and it's pretty cool! It's not about what you think it would be, and I'm sorry for the fellow Christians commenting when they don't take the time to find out what they're even talking about.

People are still debating this. He used a lot of Biblical references in this song, but the message of the song has nothing to do with what he believes or what his views on Christianity are. "No Jesus Christ" is an atheistic statement On Its Own. There is a Lot of context to be discovered if you research it. "Before you hedge those bets you placed against me, be reticent of fortunes they foretell" -Singer is addressing somebody who has aligned against the singer, warning them of future misfortune. Think about who the singer is, and who would fit the bill as the intended recipient. "You're so quick to choose the path walked by the righteous, so you can go and nest among the meek" -Keeping in mind a biblical context, and the reminder that the recipient is Not Jesus, who else was lectured about walking a "righteous" path for their own agenda? take it further, what did they do in response that would parallel the singer's treatment by the recipient? what does this say about how the singer views himself? what did Jesus say about the meek, and how would that play into the recipient's strategy? How does this lead into the next line of the song, and what questions arise from that line? There is a lot you can discern in just the introduction to the song lyrically, all you have to do is stop arguing your religious (or non-religious) dogma based on assumptions based on a track title taken out of context and just try to think. You've just been given a headstart to do some constructive research and investigation rather than starting destructive fights (hint hint), go use it

I'm a Christian and I honestly am not offended at all by this song, and I don't understand why anyone would be. Listen to the lyrics carefully. It says "You're no Jesus Christ!". It doesn't say "There is No Jesus Christ". This song actually if anything means that they believe in Jesus Christ because if they didn't believe in him they couldn't say that someone isn't Jesus Christ.... Just my thoughts, take it for what you will.
