I feel your pain. Thats my relation to the song as well. Soul searching is one of my least favorite past times. But there is light within the darkest tunnels. If you look hard and close enough. I realize it's been 9 years since you posted this. Hope your in a better place. I'm in the middle of my realization, acceptance and healing process. Music is my therapy when all else fails.

Seether is by far the best band that my ears have ever heard&ever will hear. Every lyric of every song has some meaning to me.

Seether is a great band. One of the best newer bands. They actually sing without all that screaming and some of there music is harder, but they also played. More mellow music. And it's not just 1 or 2 good songs, it just about every song is good.

listening to this because of a guy. Every time we talked about music he said this was his favorite band and I’m just here trying to remember him, he’s now another ghost in my life and my mind..

This song hits deep reminds of my girlfriend of 4 years I lost to Cancer in 7-26-20 . It's been a really rough year and three months since she's been gone, been dealing with a lot of depression and loneliness I feel empty inside but in a type of way I still feel that she's with me I miss her every single day, her memory will always give me the strength to survive no matter I feel at my darkest days. I will always keep her memory in my heart and use that as a tool to keep going and survive.

It is all the same in the end, you always get ripped away from your loved ones. Whether its by them moving away, a break up or death.

personally,i don't think this song is about breakups,it's more to somebody who loves a girl so much,but the girl don't have any feelings to him and treat him just as a friend..then the guy knows that he will never survive without the girl so he need her around even for just as a friend..

Seether. They don’t have a single album I don’t like.

This song is so deep but I have only felt this way about one man he's different than anyone I have ever meet in my life he lights up my world with just a smile but evil doesn't like it when there is that much joy in someone lives it wants you think the worst about people.
