The solo is so brief but so emotional and beautiful. One of my all time favorite Seether songs that’s not a single. Definitely should’ve been a single.

How many of us used bands like this songs like this with such feel and deep meaning to get through our tough teenage years. Our lives were hanging on by threads now woven into tough armor yet so frail and fragile. Here's to all of us who share similarities and know because of bands and songs like these were never alone ❤

The entire album is fantastic, but this song and The Gift hold a special emotional significance for me. These two tracks have been there for me during some of the toughest moments of my life, serving as a source of solace. Even now, whenever I listen to them, memories of past struggles come flooding back... sometimes with a tinge of sadness, sometimes with a hint of nostalgia. Truly powerful songs

Like I saw a comment about "the gift" and "never leave", both powerful and permanent music worthy for anyone who felt condemned, outcasted, deprived of emotions that you needed to feel in order to get through sometimes. My view about these great songs never changed since I was 17yrs. Plus the instruments are spot on with each other plus the lyrics are gold. Remedy is a good song to, the whole album.

This song here catches me with being one of those that lays in bed and looks into there past and sees how far they have come from being that person in the broken/dark part of reality to the one who walks in the light now by there own. Fate has been forged by my own hands and I will continue to walk alone. No matter where I go I will always know where I’ve been and how I’ve freed myself from the darkness. Because ITS ALL THE SAME IN THE END! ITS ONLY A SYMBOL!!

Will I fall again into dismay? Will I be ashamed of crying? And I know it's never been the way that I described But I am afraid of trying She's the one who keeps me all excited She keeps me begging for more She's the one who deems me uninvited Now it's over Never leave me, and don't deceive me I'll keep on crawling my friend Never tease me and don't leave me here It's all the same in the end Now I find that I am weaker fake That I am ashamed of lying And I know things never feel the way that's right inside And I am afraid of dying 'Cause you're the one who keeps me all excited You keep me begging for more You're the one who keeps uninvited Now it's over Never leave me, and don't deceive me I'll keep on crawling my friend It's only a symbol you're got me falling away And I am afraid Take back what I said It's all the same in the end It's all the same in the end It's all the same in the end It's only a symbol Source: LyricFind

And the point being that this is still my favorite raw sounding album and that i try to objectively think this album is 9.3/10 overall. Great simple songs and guitar. It isn't trying too hard.
