My daughter passed 4 months ago..in my apt.she oded...I should've been here.no one knew more than me how much she hurt..and wanted no part of this life.to this day it reminds me of her.as beautiful as she was...most people never knew how broken she was.. I should've been here to save her.

That's because these guys are a genre called post-grunge. Shawn Morgan's biggest influence is Nirvana. He picked up guitar by listening to "Nevermind" over and over until he taught himself. Not entirely relevant, but still. Interesting.

just makes me feel safe..... just makes me remind myself a couple of years ago.... just reminds me about my pain..... I hated the world.... I don't know how i survived all of bad things.... I don't know I could lie with a smile on my face and the darkness inside.... And this hopeless life I wanted no more.....

Just shows how much we really know the people around us.

All music is based on how you feel about it. You can relate to music without taking it literal for the lyrics. I totally feel for the emotion behind it.

I have to say this is by far the most impactful song seether ever made that resonates to close tto me and I love it!

The song means different things, people will look at it one way and others will look at it another. The only way to know the real story to the song is by asking the writer themselves.

I just listened to an interview with Shaun Morgan and he said that he wrote this about a girlfriend he had and how she started prostituting at the age of 12 and just her life and experiences. It was a really great 3 part interview by Frank Jenks.

This song is so sad. I feel guilt on those women out there have same story like this song.

Really feel the song. That music is the reason I still play. This is the feeling you wont get from most of these new artists especially these pop artists that sound like they're just throwing a bunch of random shit around that don't take any effort or heart.
