people these days don't appreciate great song writing. they want lazily written autotuned garbage. it's sad, really. SO many talented artists out there that can't catch the break they deserve due to this lackluster sense of 'good' our society has developed. My theory is that people don't like truly great music because they want to hear music and think "that can't be too hard. i could do that if i tried". they don't want to feel like someone is better or more talented than they are. That's why every teenager thinks they're a rapper these days. They just steal a beat from youtube and write something nonsensical over it. the overall trashiness of today's music scene boosts the egos of the lazy and talentless because the biggest artists in the industry are lazy and talentless. Put it this way: Migos (an incredibly overblown talentless rap group) broke the Beetles' sales record. Yes, you just read that correctly. That's the world we live in today and it's disgusting. Talent is dead.

do everything for the Glory of God and to praise Him more and to know that everything points to God and only He (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) exists in the big scheme of reality. we need more passion, desire, reverence, and fear for Him. He is realer than real and He is more than we can ever imagine. Please God help us to know you more deeply and to be serious about you and to know you for God is the purpose of life. Life is about Him and about doing everything for His Glory and for Him to get to know Him more and to live a life abundantly for Him and to have that purpose to live out for Him always and Forever. Don't care what people say; live for Christ and for Christ alone just as the angels of Heaven do. They intercede for us 24/7 and praise God constantly. They do so with power and authority from God and they are bold about God and who God and they come with the strength and power of God that is so very real. God works miracles and He is our healer, body, mind, and spirit. He cures everything and He gives us energy physically, mentally, and spiritually. All healings come from His power and He is the source of life and life more abundantly. Life becomes real when we step both feet in the will of God. Let's do this together and speak God's word with confidence and authority that comes from God. God gives us the authority to speak His Truth. Amen. Let's stand up for Christ more deeply and more passionately. Say the Name of Jesus all day long and praise Him all day long with a loud voice and be more desperate and serious for Christ more and more each day, growing in Him!

I'm from CO Springs, and was living on Clearwater Beach Island when I randomly picked this song on the jukebox, and had every CD they had ever published within a matter of dayz, and my life has never been the same since. HURT fucking rox. It's nice to know only a few of us have found one of the greatest of our times. Thank you HURT... you saved me. You know, people don't know how rare it is to actually see strumming-synchronization in music like this. Two guitarists aren't strumming chords simultaneously too often, especially in songs within this genre. It's actually cool to see. It's not a matter of following a rhythm, whatever the BPM, regardless of what you heard; one guitarist would be playing rhythm chords that ghost around the melody. Here - fuck it, we've got 'em together.

Don't worry man. I definitely know these guys, and so does anybody who's ever heard me talk about music for more than 30 seconds. Easily my favorite band. They may not have the levels of exposure they deserve, but sometimes that can be more a curse than a blessing.

Hurt is one of my favorite bands and it kills me that they aren't as well known as I would want them to be. These guys are true musicians unlike most "musicians" that are popular today.

I've seen HURT 4 times in Minneapolis MN. I randomly came across them while snowboarding, looking through my music, no Idea how I got their CD. I listened to them and they immediately were a favorite. it's so weird to try to put the feeling i get when I listen to them into words, it's honestly like I listen to the music on a physical level. There's lyrics are absolutely amazing, nobody compares to J. Loren's musicwriting.
