I wish more people actually tried holding cups full of hot liquid in a balanced fashion without having to grip really hard before they put their cups into production! Your thoughtful design of the handle is a mark of quality craftsmanship. I have very small hands or at least short and slimmish fingers, so I hardly ever find cups that are not fighting me, threatening to pour hot drinks down my legs. I like to be able to use the pinkie to give a little push at the bottom of the handle in the beginning, but as the volume inside the cup decreases, I often like to just stick my entire hand in through the handle to warm up my cold fingers. Handles that can handle (!) both my preferences are unicorns especially when they have to be attached to cups of decent volume (mug size) that are light weight and no too open so the liquid stays warm until it's all consumed.

Oh thank you! I appreciate the compliment. And yes, I'm very picky about my mug handles too!

Great video😊 is think the juicer also needs a deeper flange to keep it in place so it doesn't slip off when you push down and twist. 😊

Thank you! I definitely had it in my mind already to make it deeper for sure! That was the intent but I didn't have enough clay at the base. So something to fix next time!

I love your pottery - it's so clean and elegant. The quail egg planters are fantastic - it would be awesome if you did a series of different bird eggs in the lighter hues that you use... Thank you so much for sharing your process!! Could you please tell me what company makes the blush glaze - beautiful!!!

I LOOOVE YOUR SUNSHINE MUGS!! Please check out the video Mayco made about using stroke n coat on brown clay. She used a mountain type scene but it looks similar to your cups. That planter is Soooo beautiful!! Just a thought on the lemon juicer, if you can make the lines down the middle deeper it will really help to break up the pulp in the lemon!!! I have tried making yarn bowls as well, I’m a handbuilder, and I haven’t had any luck. But I do crochet so I find them useful. I do see an issue with the little pieces that come off the pot to hold the yarn. Think about the fact that some yarn is pretty bulky and thick and would definitely get stuck on the little pieces that come off the pot. The yarn gets tangled and sometimes you have to pull on it and I think it would break them. Sorry, I don’t mean to be a downer just fyi.

It's by Mayco, they have a lot of pretty glazes! Though I rename them so it's under another name, Amber something I believe.
