Yeah they know if they rule against them that states will simply ignore it and it’s likely to cause massive backlash because the federal government will continue to push them. They know the federal government has no intention of stopping the disarmament agenda so if they do make a ruling against it it will display them going open authoritarian.

It's a fork. If people start a revolution, it would collapse the U.S. economy, which would also lead to a martial law nationwide and then Communism. If people would obey and comply with Marxist laws then the (disarmed) USA would surely even faster turn into Communism. What's there to rule on? Literally anything that limits or restricts a firearm from being used in a particular fashion is actively infringing on the 2nd amendment. Case closed. Federal law trumps state law. The 2nd amendment is a higher authority. States shouldn't be able to limit firearms, magazines, or attachments in any capacity whatsoever. Nor should they be able to say when and where you're allowed to carry. Because.. shall not be infringed. If the supreme court keeps pushing these cases back, that tells me one thing. They're considering MOB rule. But the mob in question consists of corrupt politicians, leftists, and ignorant college kids. If they rule in favor of the mob, then they aren't actually making decisions that benefit this country. In other words, the supreme court judges would be ruling agaisnt what they know is right out of fear for their own lives. Remember when they overturned Roe v. Wade? The leftist regime went to the judges' houses and protested in an angry mob fashion.

It would be perfect if the took a standard capacity mag ban up and ruled on it by the 4rth of July. That would be poetic.

The answer is, SCOTUS decided to not decide and delayed any action for next time. Boom. Easy, saved everyone almost 8 minutes.

With all the stall tactics, by the time the Supreme Court actually takes up these 2nd amendment cases, pray, we don’t lose the conservative majority. We have a strong conservative majority now but that can change in the future. That’s the socialist dream, to stall till the court changes. I know there is a process, but we are losing or constitutional right everyday they don’t take these cases.

Although the MD case did reach SCOTUS once, it like the IL cases has not reached its conclusion on the post Bruen process. Which makes it unlikely they will take any of them. However it is possible they are looking to Combine all the IL cases and make one big monster of a case, either now or in the near future. If they do then that is the best possible outcome, but again since None have reached the end in their circuits I would be shocked if they took them. They could also be waiting for the CA cases to put in for Cert, which have not yet and I think the lack of cases from yet another circuit is the main reason they are hesitating. They do need to re-set the tone of the lower courts by taking them all and put an end to all this nonsense from the lower courts.
