This law won't be one that's enforced by the police but by the FFLs themselves. They'll have no choice but to not sell you more than one gun a month. Because if they do, they're almost certainly going to be fined heavily by CA at the least, they might just pull their FFL and shut them down for selling someone more than one gun a month.

If a cop can be sued in their personal capacity and even be held criminally liable when they intentionally violated a person's constitutional rights, why can't politicians? I bet if they were held liable they would stop their shenanigans!!!!

If the per mile gas tax passes, there will be a tax revolt like what happened with prop 13 almost 50 years ago. Unless maybe it replaces all.per gallon tax and comes in at no more than single digit cents per mile. At 30 cents, it's 5-10 times current tax in a vehicle getting 20 mpg and 10-20 times for 40mpg.

It absolutely had nothing to do with whether or not you could own a firearm, how many firearms you could own, or how often you could purchase a firearm.

Days to pass an unconstitutional law, four years (and counting) to overturn it. What's wrong with this picture?

I am stuck in the 1 in 30 law. Owner of my LGS died during my 10 day waiting period thus the FFL license got suspended. I have to wait until the local sheriffs office of 2 counties and DOJ agree on transferring to another LGS my paid for gun and paid for FBI background gets blessed. By that time there will not be enough time for me to purchase my next gun before July 1st when I get to enjoy paying an extra 11% sin tax.

If you don't have the right to "acquire" firearms then by default you have the right to build your own firearms. Which also makes the whole "ghost gun" issue null and void.
