I think the precedent is this tournament. After this, keepers who stepped both feet over the line before the kick will all follow suit - yellow-carded and penalty re-taken.

They changed the rules at the beginning of June, now you have to have a foot on the line. A lot of goalies in major leagues in Europe are going to be sent off this season if they’re not careful

@Jauneault Nicolas, how about some French that were not happy about the said situation. The thing is, in Nigeria's case, the keeper didn't make a contact with the ball. Also, I think people are now getting used to the new rule. In any case, the rule has to stand.

Yes, Brasil and Argentina were place in the Death Group... In Group C, Brasil, Australia and Italy all finished with 6 points each. Just Jamaica finished with 0 points. And in this Group D, Argentina and Scotland fought until the last minute of the match.

Disappointed Scotland let a 3-0 slip away however they have been unlucky with VAR in this tournament. Most keepers over the years have step forward off the line and very rarely get pulled up for, even the opponents didn't call for retakes. It always looks worst in slow motion. VAR have been too strict with this rule and it's not fair on the keeper who made a great save.

@@iagoribeiro4940 yes dude, it started with U20 fifa world cup in Poland.. as a football enthusiast I only have interest (before) into men's football..in any major tournaments..whether country or club level..the time for the tournament is just right because if I'm not mistaken, when the U20 reach quarter or semi final, then women's football just started..So whoever 'accidentally' follow the U20, just continue watching women's game..like myself..I just continue watching.. so after this I try to watch every football match at any level, female or male, youth or professional adult..

That did NOT look like a penalty. She 'filmed' for it, & was awarded the penalty.

Its just a shame the game only lasted 82 minutes. We'll never know.

Scotland, I wanted you to win! But, good luck to Argentina, too. It is just that Argentina already has an awesome soccer/football tradition with their men, and Scotland needed this win...because they need something for their country, too! Plus, I feel a deep kinship with my ancient Scottish, English, and Irish ancestors. But, good luck to you, also, Argentina! You ladies did great to make such a comeback. Peace out to you all...from Mississippi, USA!

It was a great game. I wish the ref would have let them play a few more minutes, but both teams played their heart out. It will be a shame if Argentina does not make it into the round of 16, they deserve to be there. the chances are small, but not impossible.

This was an exciting game, but it will mean Scotland will leave the tournament, Argentina scored 2 amazing goals, I hope they keep up the quality if they classify, But it's sad that Scotland has to leave, They had their ticket, but Argentina responded. Scotland has a bunch of great players from the FA WSL teams.
