Our wonderful time at the Outer Banks of North Carolina continues with wonderful beach time & beautiful sunsets...but the Scamp started to have some concerning electrical problems 😬

We are a (sort of) normal couple living a rather unusual lifestyle in a Tiny House on Wheels (192 square feet) trying to fit more adventure, travel and exploration into our lives! We love to go camping, hiking, backpacking, kayaking…and traveling with our 16 foot Scamp Trailer. We have an awesome Adventure dog named Redford that is up for anything. wait till you see tonight's episode...you will see my not happy camper face 😬 we *try* to stay calm...cuz stuff always breaks, but this was a particularly challenging/stressful trip on the way home

He really enjoyed this trip- he got to do his favorite things: nap in the sun, nap in the shade and go for a walk 😊
Booked a spot at that camp ground for April. Bringing my dog too. A bit worried about those ticks tho! 🙁
I'm so with you on how nice it is to have a quiet and peaceful campsite..Patrick picked a good one! I would have liked it there, minus the ticks. When you upgrade your chairs, you'll probably find that taller is nicer. Also, less likely to have ants in your pants like I did once in Big Sur. I felt something and trotted down to the big concrete lit up bathroom. Pulled my pants down and he bit me and he dropped on the floor and I screamed. He was big and black. Like a spider but an ant that bit!!! I smushed him fast. Then I was embarrassed. Funny memory.

It was a great site & a great campground! oh the interesting critters you run into when camping 😂😂 makes for a good story! I'll keep an eye out if we get up to Big Sur 👍
110 vs 12 volt. You might not be charging the house battery.

thats what we were thinking- there must be an issue with the Scamp battery...we are still investigating as it seems to be a multifactoral problem, but I will keep you updated 👍
One word: Lithium.

@@LetNewAdventuresBegin Much less than that, lead acid is false economy at this point. Decent 100 ah lithium is less than $400 at amazon.
