Also, one thing he stresses over and over that you obviously missed is that to be a good parent, you must be the MASTER OF JOY. That is quite simply one of the greatest and clearest teachings I have ever heard. The cool thing too is that you can say nothing bad about it, because you cannot be critical of someone who does everything in TRUE joy. Even the Bible says it. Against such things there is no law.

Oh, and btw, I did not read the book, but bought the video series. I am not much of a reader, but I know that when you do read it is easy to reflect your opinions of a subject on how you see a writer's attitude or expression. So IF you did read SOME of the book, that's probably what you did. If you see this guy live you will see it is impossible to derrive anything negative from him or his teachings. He is a jolly old man, much like our idea of Santa Clause.

@foothills sure buddy. I do not believe you have read the book nor do I believe the story about the lady. I think you're being just like any other flaming liberal and making up stuff to make your case. That's the problem with being a liberal and not having anything to hold you accountable like us conservative do.
