I love the part where it shows all the people in London having a wonderful time and Karl sat in his flat alone, looking angry with the whole sitation.

I honestly don't think Karl would be as funny as he is if he actually tried to be. It comes so effortlessly to him, he doesn't even mean to be, that's why i appreciate it so much! he;s hilarious!

Karl's idea is actually used in the movie: "Enemy Mine" from 1985 with Louis Gossett, Jr. as Jeriba Shigan. Jeriba is an member of an alien race that reproduce themselves in the way Karl describes here. I don't know if he ripped his idea of from this film, but just saying that while they're laughing at him, others had the same idea and put it into a movie. It is sad that creativity is killed for a cheap laugh.

@mohomadali It started as a podcast and the animation has been added later, at least it has for the episodes I've seen. I don't think there is any video footage because it was recorded without the intention of moving to television.

Something went wrong during childbirth and Jeriba "Jerry" dies. It is not normal for a Drac parent to die during childbirth. The parent is the one who recites the lineage, however since Jeriba knew it was a good possibility he might die due to the exposure he was experiencing, he got Davidge to promise to recite it if he ever got off the planet.

@salusburycheese I really don't think Karl was trying to make a metaphor. In his head, he probably thought it there was a scientist listening, this could be happening in the next few months.

@salusburycheese By "metaphor that they would understand" do you mean putting an idea in the most insane way human words can possibly manage? Because that's what I heard and I have to disagree with the idea that Karl is some kind of misunderstood genius here xD

Whats so entertaining about a cool idea constantly being rammed by shit I’d much rather prefer karl get to elaborate more on this. The fact that he tries to justify this process as easing death to a family makes me think its rather sweet

So basically Karl is suggesting a form of asexual reproduction, which does occur quite abundantly in nature. To me, Stephen and Ricky have been better educated than Karl, but lack his curiosity and imagination.
