Saucony Triumph 22 Full Review | Two runners test the latest cushioned cruiser
Спорт
The Saucony Triumph 22 sees some major updates to the line. The biggest is a new PWRRUN PB foam midsole, a PEBA-based material replacing the PWRRUN+ found in the Triumph 21 that aims to improve cushioning, energy return and responsiveness. The same foam is used in the Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 and Speed 4.
There’s also an updated upper designed to be even plusher and more comfortable than its predecessor, and a noticeably wider base across the full length of the shoe to improve stability.
Tom and Nick have tested the shoe out to see if it's worth buying.

Sounds like the best thing about the 22sis that the 21s are going cheap now 🙌
It's not the same PEBA as the speed & pro. it has been tweaked and reformulated for the everyday runner. Jesse the merchanising manager from Saucony says this. Episode on Running Warehouse. Saucony Triumph 22 First Look.. I won't be buying the Triumph 22, I love my Triumph 20 and bought 2 pairs. Thank you for the review guys.
Love the Triumph 21, I've ordered some more.

They all are gone , I've just bought the last pair 😂
I have never used a Triumph from Saucony, but I was thinking about giving this brand a chance after the success of the version 20 and 21. They were high cushioning shoes that were extremely durable, breathable ,lightweight and versatile . But now, this v22 only got the durability . I will keep my high cushioning shoes from the few brands I trust the most ...
I'm probably going to have to replace my Invincible 3's this summer, so I'm hoping that you guys will do some comparison videos where you pit these against some of the others on the market.
Useful review, which confirms other opinions I've seen. I won't be buying it, but will see if I can get a cheap pair of 21s from my local saucony outlet store. I'll also buy the ride 17s for certain when my 15s are done.

Love the ride 15 and it light weight. Had the 20 and a pair of 21 but also going back to the rides with 17. Wish they kept the weight of the 15.
Might be worthwhile comparing this vs the current Vomero 17? Also shocked Saucony didn’t take a dual density approach with the midsole and have the race formulation of PwrRunPb on top of a PwrRunPlus base…
super soft i found , great trainer esp for long distances

I found it much firmer than many max Cush trainers. I like em
I guessed it's time to get another few pair of Triumph 20 or 21 before it sold out!

lol, I’m thinking the same thing. I bought 5 pairs of 20 a year ago at 70 bucks. I’m looking to do the same with the 21s.
Wow, I know I'll be buying the Asics Superblast 2 now or Endorphin Speed 4. How can you make it so heavy and ruin Peba foam. Seems to me they knew this was coming and made the Ride 17 the new Triumph if you want Triumph 21 feel.
Currently running in Nike zoom fly 3’s but I’m after something to add into my rotation that gives more cushion and to use as a daily use trainer. I struggle with shin splints due to heavy heel strike but working on a midsole strike to fix that. Should i go for the triumph 21 or 22?
These are softer than the 20 and 21, they were bricks to me, but they worked. These do run a little flatter than the 20 and 21 for me.
how is this comparing to Deviate Nitro 2?
Time to stock up on the T20s then
It’s a different shoe vs 21, it’s good for my recovery runs in my peak weeks and probably after the marathon, comfort and protection is what i get. But if you are looking for more to the daily runs triumph 21 or ride 17 would i say. This one was littlbit of a bummer shoe with so much potential. Good shoe for protection.
£170. These companies are taking the proverbial now.

Agreed. Prices have gone crazy the last few years. You could buy a microwave oven for the same price as a super shoe these days.

A microwave would be cheaper.
If people have to debate if the Saucony Triumph is max-cushioned like 1080 v13 or Nimbus 25 which everyone agree they are and soft, then I'd say Saucony fails in making max-cushioned shoes. Just because it has big stack of foam does not make it max-cushioned. I for one find pegasus 39 is just as comfortable as the 21, and the 21 does not feel like the gel nimbus to me.

They stick the power run plus insoles in to hide and average midsole.
anything like the tempus?

It sounds like a hoka Bondi. Feels like your running through wet mud.
Dear viewers, stay with the idea: "there are better options out there"!
Get the triumph 21 when they under $99

I can't believe they ruined the 21
