As a 3:30-3:45 marathoner - I am leaning towards this vs the Pro. Finally someone compared these to a Kinvara, a shoe I've worn probably twenty pairs of over the years and has been my go-to daily and marathoning shoe.

My favorite version of the kinvara was version 2. Which one is your favorite? Do you like the updates of the new ones?

I started at version 4 thru 8. I like version 5 the most among those.

@@genysmenrunner1677 I definitely preferred versions before the 9. I am now wearing the 10s. I buy a bunch of 'last year's model' on sale at RW when the new version comes out. Not a fan of the little balls in the heel on V10. Struggling to get new pairs as I live in HK and can't get to the States to stock up which is what I usually do.

This is the best shoe I have ever used. I like it so much that I purchased a couple of them to rotate in my run. The only negative is that these shoes are extremely difficult to get, as it is sold out everywhere.

Do these come in a wide? I need a wide shoe with cushion and wide mesh toe box. Not to high in ankle. I’m an older woman with osteoporosis thank you

Is this a wide friendly shoe?

I have about 35 miles on this shoe and am loving it. One negative to note 📝. I hear a loud clicking noise coming from the shoe. It leads me to believe that the plate may be cracked. I hear it mainly on toe off. I'm 160 lbs if that helps any.

Question: former athlete who’s 6’1” 205. Enjoy walking several miles instead of running these days. Is this shoe too stiff for walking?

I didn't find the shoe to be nearly as stiff as the pro. Idk if it would be my go to walking shoe though. I would like to try the Endorphin Shift first.

@@davidpiligian9733 I wouldn't go with a plated shoe of any form for walking. The stiffness works beautifully for running, but feels odd when walking around. Kinvaras would be better and cheaper for that! If you want the ultimate cush and more durability go with the excellent Triumph 17.

Pro or speed for 5k and 10k ? Why we can't get speed in Poland?? Only shift and pro

Hey RW team, any idea on the sort of lifespan we can expect from the foam? ZoomX in the Turbo 35 was great until roughly 150 miles where it bottomed out for me. Hoping Saucony's take on the Peba foam doesn't bottom out as quickly.

We're still testing both the pro and speed but we believe you'll see much better durability in PRWRNPB over Zoom X. Saucony specifically used the beaded compound because of its increased lifespan. When we were at Suacony HQ, we saw test pairs with upwards of 400 miles and still looked decent. If durability is your main concern, PRWUNPB looks to be best in category from the new super foams. -Connor

It uses their ultra responsive PWRUNPB foam and a nylon plate. In our opinion one of the best price points of any plated shoe using a high end "Super foam" -Connor

Beats the heck out of $200+ for a carbon plate shoe. This is more like “carbon for the masses.”

Believe me, I've never been happier after spending so much money in a running shoe in my entire life... and I live in Argentina, where 160 dollars is A LOT of money!
