    It feels less because it is softer in the hill. Did you get the chance to try the Pro3... Surprisingly wide and midse seems to remind me a lot of the Speed 2. Maybe it's the energy return or the rocker? Pro 3 to me felt like a evolution of the Speed 2..

    50(ish) km into mine so far and my favourite speed so far. I always found I had to break in the midsole of the v1 before it really felt great. Out of the box it was firm but with this version, the bounce was there as soon as it left the box. Like you, the upper of the new version is more comfortable for me. No toe rubbing at the end of long runs. The midsole on mine seems to be showing a little cosmetic wear already but we’ll see if it lasts the 900+ km that I got out of my last 2 pairs. Easily the best value shoe out there. Can do everything well. Always a shoe I’m excited to put on.

    Hey Alex ...great review 👍...finaly a new version with some big changes lol because the v1 & V2 not so much differences...i liked my v1 till they had 400kms after that i felt them too soft on the hill and unstable espacially with a bit of pronation on my right foot...maybe i m gonna try the v3 if i can catch them at a nice discount price...will see or maybe with a new colorway because, its subjective but that blue one 🤮 lol i like too run in good shoes but i like to have a colorway which makes me want to wear them and going out for a run lol 👏👏👏😉🇫🇷

    The Hoka Mach 4 felt slightly too tight for me in terms of width. The arch support in the Saucony Tempus protruded a bit too much into my foot. Is the Endorphin Speed 3 similar in terms of width or arch support with those shoes? If the Speed 3 is not too narrow fit for me, I will buy it.

    I only tried version 2, but have to return them back. overall the fit was good, but I had some rubbing on the right pinky toe. so maybe this will be my first speed. Thanks!!

    Hey, Alex! I was wondering: how do you compare the Speed 3 vs the Pro 3 in terms of durability? Last year I bought the Speed v1 for racing and speed training and I really liked it, and I was wondering if I could do the same with the Pro 3. However, I'd only do that if the durability is good enough. What do you think?

    I think it's amazing how they made this shoe more for everyone . Also how did they make such a soft shoe so stable... agreed with everything you said . The price Us-Eu is quite insane agreed we should not have to pay for logistics 30 euro a shoe is like we could import it ourselves from USA for that price I'm a heelstriker and this shoe feels just as good for me despite the 2mm less drop no bottoming out for my 100kg . Already have 150km on my speed3 Edit: from all speeds this is the most stable one and my pronation foot does not pronate as much as say the novablast2 . Its a great fast shoe for people like me

    I enjoyed the ride of the speed 1 but it was just too unstable for me. I’m so so tempted by this shoe. Currently running the Tempus and really enjoying that for slower runs but need a quicker shoe.

    @@AlexFilitti I don’t think the tempus is a tempo shoe but you can run quickly in it. For slower paced runs it’s lovely. Super stable and quite bouncy. The shock absorption is amazing. It is what the endorphin shift should have been like imo.

    @@Discomattisace I also have the Tempus, and totally agree on what you are saying. Is not tempo, but it is light for all the absorption and how stable it is. That's for sure.

    I use the Speed 3 for long runs but I realised that it's just tomorrow soft.. After an hour or so its tiring to run in soft shoes. Speed 2 much better energy return and speed role. Any other shoes that are like the Speed 2?

  • @TimGrose
    @TimGrose2 жыл бұрын

    I haven't noticed a huge amount of difference for me in the Speed 3 vs the previous editions. This is now my 6th pair. The 3 did feel slightly soft on the first few runs but I recall all the Speeds have had feel more "bouncy" initially and I haven't got an overly new older version to directly compare. So now my 3 just feels like a "Speed". Not noticed any obvious difference in drop as felt like 8mm or so to me (and I normally don't like a low drop) or stability but never had a problem with stability in the Speeds although the Zoom Fly 5, for example, does feel more stable per se.

Looking forward to updating to Speed 3 : - ) Wish prices were directly related to conversion rates in Australia too - we get some very different prices to Europe - point of origin (manufacture) is similar for all brands, so maybe it's to do with the size of market in given location for each brand?

    @@AlexFilitti someone with a degree in economics may have to answer that. There's a huge difference between CAN and US as well, makes no sense to me. But US have lower VAT taxes I think? And just fyi, the Speed is about 20€ more expensive in my country, so about 210€.
