45:43 -- I hear where you're coming from. I've been a BBQ restaurant owner/operator for over 30 years until I retired. You made me ponder the difference between a cook and a pitmaster. I don't know where you could learn this. My experience was trial and error until I perfected my craft. If I were to teach someone all I know that I have learned over a lifetime, it would take at least five years to mentor them.

I agree with you Jax on the culture today in all things. When I started driving in the late 70's it was so different. I had road with my grandpa, and my dad for years. My little brother is 11 years younger than me at 54. He has been driving for 20 years, and will tell you that he never learned what I did because he didn't have a mentor. Another thing an old boy told me years ago ,and he was right. There is only 2 kind of drivers. Truck drivers, and truckers! Truckers were born in to it. I enjoy what you and Luke have together!

Had a boss that told me truck drivers where a dime a dozen 🤔 reached in my pocket gave him two quarters he asked what's this ? Told him qualified operators are hard to find and walked out the door 😁

Both are bad a$$ but super singles are tough looking but dully can definitely save your a$$ with a spare tire ready and rolling💪

I got my class A cdl at 18 years old , had to fight with the state to even take the test because they weren't clear on the rules , you can get it at 18 but it is "intrastate only " until you are 21 so legally I couldn't drive a rig outside of my home state until I turned 21 . I was really good but I didn't belong going out of state on my own I had no idea what rules were I just wanted to grab gears and hit the Jake's 😂

In my opinion you need at least 8 years of driving to be driving trucks those are deadly machine's to have youngsters at the wheel not many people had great mentors at a young age plus we have a lot more driver's on the road now😮
