Sometimes I wonder if Patrice is going to keep catching on like this. And if like in 15-20 years, younger people who would never have been around during Patrice’s life (or were super young when he was doing these O&A shows and stand ups) are going to see him like a cult great of comedy like people see a Andy Kaufman or Lenny Bruce after their times have passed. I wish they could all look back on that moment and realise it wasn't always bad between them. Maybe theres an example of common ground on how this was handled by all, including opie who called out him getting all the credit when Jimmie was the one that handled the situation.

2:46:00 - DL doesn't know why his kids were 3 years behind going to an LAUSD school in the inner city vs. when he moved to the valley and his kids were at a LAUSD school? Same curriculum, same books, same tests. What's the racial demos in the inner city...Latino and Black? What's the racial demos in Valley schools? White and Asian. Hard to get an education when there is no value put on education with 90% of the students around you or when there are fights every day in class and the teachers get no respect.

Patrice evolved a lot after obongo was installed. He's still pretty green here politically.

31:50 ish. Opie's college professor was right. But not being able to do something obviously doesnt stop you from failing if you surround yourself with talented people.
