This song literally saved my life. My husband of 16 years left me, he wouldn't admit it but I know it was for another woman who he's still with now, 8 years later. This song reminded me that I mattered, I was important and that nobody else could value my worth more than I could. I moved on, I did it. I established my own life on my own, and now at the mention of his name I cringe. I can't believe I gave my life to somebody that so easily tossed me aside after building our life together. A month ago my wife and best friend, the absolute love of my life, tossed me away like I was yesterday's trash...and she did it via text message, then blocked me. 23 yrs together and she didn't even have the decency or respect to tell me in person. She was my everything, my reason for living -so I need not tell you how bad it hurt. Up until a couple days ago I barely had the will to get out of bed each morning. But that's slowly changing. My grandpa use to tell me before he died everyone has the strength to do anything you just have to believe in yourself u have people out in this world who is pulling for and you may not know it but just close your eyes and breathe that's something I will never forget what my grandpa said

You are absolutely correct. Women can be just as emotionally abusive as men any day of the week. I am glad you got some strength from this song. My world changed five months ago when my now-ex left. I guess a Christian marriage meant something different to him. I wish you the best of success in rebuilding your life.

We had a Christian marriage 39 years, but the last 10 years my wife has refused help for alcohol, pills, depression,grief, anxiety and lack of motivation. I went into counseling 8 years ago to try to fix it. I hate change and have tried everything I can to save and fix this mess. Now I must be free and live. I told her about 6 weeks ago. It should all be wrapped up by April. I honestly feel like the biggest weight has been lifted off my shoulders. And I can walk away with a clear conscience. Also, the verbal abuse was awful. Seeing her wiped out wasted has been very sad.

First off..I want to tell everyone here that "You are beautiful!". Break ups are hard, no matter your age etc. If you love someone,and then their gone,it leaves an empty space in your heart that just plain hurts. I'm sorry for what your each going thru. I have been thru some very painful break ups too. And now..I'm going thru another one :-( The worse for me this time is he just seems to "throw a switch" and acts like the last 5 years are worth nothing. I think that's what upsets me the most this time. Meanwhile..I'm in tears everyday. My boyfriend dumped me a month and a half back after a whole year of planning marriage and promises. Caught him hitting up some random girl and asking her to meet and what's worse is, I doubt she knew about me. He immediately called and broke and called off everything once I called him out on it and I've gone no contact, changed my number and working on healing. I don't blame MEN. Not all men are the same. Guess some people are around too many toxic significant to realise what a real one is. I hope you find your person 😊

Your husband sounds like my father.....I am a male. I left my mom with 5 kids for another woman, after 10 years of seeing him once or twice a year he came home for good, I couldn't understand why my mom took him back. It wasn't until I fell in love with a girl and she left me I understood....Stay strong! And God bless you and your children.

There is no worse physical and mental pain than that of a broken heart, divorce)break up from the one you desired to spend your life and now she is just another name in the mentioning, a stranger, just another face in the crowd. The pain and sorrow doesn't go away, I ust get stronger and accept the fact that I must live with this thorn in my side as every once in awhile I have those reminders of how much I do actually still love and miss her.

I care!!!!! Being strong has nothing to do with resisting a man (sorry guy's) and Fairytales don't exist, they really don't.....the fact that "Miraculous Is My World" is who you chose to go by, speaks volumes. Never ever tell anyone on here your age, there are really sick and not so nice people in the world that belong too.

I'm done thinkin' that he could ever change.... and that we could work it out.... and I am done letting him drag my heart around! I Still feel the sting of the pain..... I got a little bit stronger .... and stronger She hits home! Rough... exhausting... marriage. He abandoned us. Never saw him again. God is Good. Keep in close. wow we share the same name and sounds to me the same pain as well.

I remember listening to this song while going though the hardest time I have ever been through. I remember thinking I would never get on the other side of that severe heart break. I remember the first time I realized I had not thought of him that day. And realized I had not cried over him and did not even need to. I still have anger when I realize what he put me through. But I am done hoping we could work it out. I have gotten a lot stronger and healed. But it was a hard time. This song really meant a lot to me during that time.
