Sandra is one of the most wanted diva for collection. Magazines with her rise up 100€!!!! and her music is timeless. I think that her alone, a playlist worth. Sister and Brothers is another gem!
INNOCENT LOVE is and remains my Sandra favorite.

Sandra’s songs don’t age! She is unique! I’m glad I grew up with her songs! She’s a real gem and super star, starting from “Arabesque”!
The song is also a transition and announces the sounds of "Enigma"n musical project leads by Michael Cretu (songwriter and producer of Sandra.) with participation of Sandra, his wife.

Cretu was only the producer. Hubert Kemmler (Hubert Kah) was the writer. Er hat die meisten Songs für Sandra geschrieben. Er singt auch die männlichen Parts in ihren Songs, was für den Sandra Sound unverwechselbar war.
Had a major crush on her in my teenage years - posters all over my walls ♥ Sweet 80s and 90s - love it!!!

sandra was born in germany, saarbruecken. she is not franco-german. her ex-husband michael cretu (born in romania) was her producer and he is/was also behind enigma.

I know Saarbrücken very well, which is a German city located on the Franco-German border. Then, Sandra's mother is German and her father is French and she has always had dual Franco-German nationality since birth! Even Wikipedia in German version says so ---> de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandra_(S%C3%A4ngerin) ..........

one of my favorite singers from eighties (The Backing vocals are from Huber Kah). Listen Stop For A Minute, Innocent Love...and many more. I recomend another example of good electronic music from eighties: Alphaville, songs: Big In Japan, Sounds Like A Melody...
Video shot on Ibiza where she lives. The background vocals are Michael Cretu (the producer) or Hubert Kemmler. Peter Ries is the background singer on Maria Magdalena music video as well as In the heat of the night & Innocent Love, but he is lip syncing in the Maria Magdalena video to Cretu’s voice. Peter’s own voice is used on some Sandra recordings, possibly this one. So happy you reacted to another one of her greatest hits, & Heaven can wait is awesome!! Timeless production! Hubert Kah & Hubert Kemmler are the same person right? I watched an intervju with Peter Ries who said his backround singing in videos (The guy playing base guitar in Maria Magdalena) was sometimes lipsyncing on these music videos.

Her husband was Michael Cretu, a real master when it comes to this art! Her husband later created "Enigma", where sometimes you could hear Sandra talk. I love her song "Secret Land".
I love the male background vocal of Hubert Kah. They go well together.

I am a big SANDRA fan from Spain since 1986. Heaven Can Wait remains one of her best! Shot in my country in Ibiza. I Used to take German tourist to the church shown in the video and talked about Sandra. Background vocals as shown in the video were from Hubert Kemmler who used to write for Sandra. He said to me he found it funny a camera was really close to his face to shot his part in the music video!! Beautiful video ever from 1988. Big hit all around in summer 1988. Hi Dereck! Thanks for your react on Sandra!😉 One of my favorite female singer in 80's and 90's. I like this track, very catchy and punchy taken from her third album "Into A Secret Land" the same year 1988. The M/V shot in Ibiza like Will Be Together in 1989 which will be released as a remixed version for the 7". In France, Sandra was much appreciated and well ranked in the charts, No.6 for this song. Secret Land the "follow up" is good too but my fav is as many people suggested to you Innocent Love (1986) which is a sick/killer song with synths, drums,etc... I think you'll enjoy with this one. Thanks for your great work. 👍With this song you can shake your butt at the gym. 😆😅

There's this project by his wife - Susanne Kemmler called Slavik...Kemmler, the style is very similar to Hubert Kah & Sandra.
