Well, I made it to a yarn shop that carries Double Sunday so I could feel it for myself. Boy! That didn't seem soft at all, to be honest. I totally agree with your take. I needed a DK weigth yarn and the one that seemed softest in the store? Rowan Alpaca Soft DK. I would love for you to test that so I could see where it sits--in terms of softness--compared with the other DKs you have ranked. Thanks for your channel!

I love double sunday! But it is quite expensive compared to the alternatives. After seeing your review on "Daisy" from drops, I really want to try that one!

Hello! I wanted to let you know that we just uploaded a comparison video of Drops Daisy and Sandnes Garn Double Sunday if you're interested in checking it out:)

Sorry to say that Sandnes Garn Yarns are not as available in the UK as you might think. My local yarn shop certainly doesn't have it being a very traditional shop selling mostly the likes of Sirdar, Stylecraft, King Cole, etc. If I want Sandnes Garn I have to try Knitt, SKD yarns or No Frills Knitting who all sell online, though No Frillls Knitting does have a bricks and mortar shop but it's on the other side of the country from me. Wool Warehouse is my go to supplier for yarn and I'd probably buy Drops Daisy instead. Especially as DD is more affordable too.

Mother Knitter, a shop in New Jersey, carries Sandnes Garn yarn and they sell online as well.

I absolutely can do that! In short, Peruvian Highland wool is more hearty and rustic/less soft than merino, and merino is more delicate.
