DUPING SANDNES GARN PATTERNS | 2202 Soft for Women / Mykt Til Dame

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I love so many of the patterns in the Sandnes Garn Mykt Til Dame/Soft for Women 2202 book, but I know it’s not super accessible in many parts of the world. Here is a list of dupes for the patterns in the book if you want to make something similar.

Fantastic video! That is a lovely pattern book, but this video is incredibly helpful. Whether you knit out of the book or replicate using a dupe, the result would be a beautiful garment you made. I hope Sandnes Garn starts releasing their pattern books in PDF.

Fabulous choice of dupes, live in the UK and impossible to find a copy of this book now, found a stockist in Finland but will not ship to the UK. Will be making the Bore sweater. Thank you for saving me all the time of trawling Ravelry for dupes, so very much appreciated. Xxx

i fall in love with this book after seeing your amy garment in one of your videos! luckily the yarn store I ask here in Spain bring it to me with their yarn order from the supplier! I am extremelly happy with the magazin so thank you! still this is a very helpful video! The lady in the yarn store told me is very easy for them to order magazines if they are still in stock in the norwegian website if you dont mind to wait until they need to make the order for reestock the sandnes garn, so here is the tip if someone want it and know a store that carry the brand, you don´t lose anything for ask. (Sorry english is not my first language, hope I was able to explain it)

Hi Anna, I have loved several patterns in this book and also wanted the book since it was released earlier this year. I found your video April/May and decided to go on the hunt. After receiving my book, I found your dup episode. Mine came from Germany along with a skein of yarn (required). I’m thrilled to have it and also think you did a fabulous job duping the patterns. I’m going to write Sandnes Garn and ask that they put this book in Ravelry so we can enjoy everyone’s work.

Hi Kathleen! Are you thinking of book 68 (www.sandnes-garn.com/tema68-kolleksjon) or book 72 (www.sandnes-garn.com/tema72-kolleksjon)? they are both called Norwegian Icons so it is a bit confusing.

I bought my copy from knitt.co.uk! there is a sock pattern in the book, so if you can't find anywhere that will just sell you the book, you could get two skeins of sock yarn which wouldn't be too much extra.

lol, No kidding about how hard it was to order this book and then being forced to by the yarn from the seller, I have a question about how to place the markers on the Frankie sweater, I find the patterns in this book extremely hard to understand, like when it says work 14( Knit) lol, insert marker around the next3 st, ? so do I knit 14 PM K 3 PM? and so on?

Hi Monique! sorry for the very late response. The instructions for the yoke are a little tricky. I did what you wrote above -- k14, PM, k3, PM, k42, so you end up with a 3 stitch raglan line. Sorry if you've already figured this out by now!!

I keep seeing gorgeous patterns that I love, then I notice the drop sleeves, which ruins it for me. That fit doesn't look good on me at all. It's not flattering. Why is it so prevalent? It seems like lazy design. A raglan sleeve is much more attractive on most people.
