Would highly recommend the Anker Summer Shirt!! I made it this summer and it went by sooooo quickly - I can imagine much quicker than fingering weight. The drape is lovely in a 100% cotton yarn too!

I said the same thing with the sophie scarf 😅 “that’s cute but I’m not a small scarf kinda girl so I’ll pass “ but ended up knitting it anyway and I’m now on my second scarf 😆

I feel you on needing to write down what on earth project I got all this yarn for. It's so weird, because I hadn't been the sort of person who bought yarn for a specific project to begin with. That changed when I started knitting garments rather than crocheting blankets.

When I knit sweater no 9 the uneven purl stitches were also bothering me 😂😂 I found wrapping the yarn the other way ‘clockwise’ made them wayyy more even and neat. Just in the next row you have to purl through the back look so it’s not twisted

Hi. I’m new to your channel…You have probably already had many responses to this but the thing I do for blocking, is after I squeeze out water I then get two towels. I roll up the object and stand on it to get the excess water out. But then I take a second towel and do it again. What a difference it makes. Mine will take days as well but when I do the extra towel I’m good in about a day. It may be slightly damp, and I mean just a bit cool to the touch in a spot or two and I will lay it over a chair or put it down on the floor in from of my fireplace. It works great.

I'm like that seems like it's out of my skill level, so I wanna try it 😂

I just finished the ithelien vest by fabel knits i used the wandering flock neon green fingering and mohair. It’s such a pretty yarn and I was so paranoid I wouldn’t have enough I followed the pattern which knowing fabel patterns they are cropped. It feels cropped on me even though I’m short torso just because the ribbing starts right under my chest . So that whole thing you mentioned about adding length I totally relate. Love the ice cream social yarn you got. I missed that one but did purchase two color from the Ireland collection.

I missed the second Ireland launch, but that’s okay because I had already invested a small fortune in the Sewrella Yarn Autumn in New York collection LOL. Omg that vest sounds beautiful. I’m sure it still looks good even if it’s cropped-unfortunately I just don’t reach for those items as often. I’m sure with experience I will learn how I like my hand knit items to fit more!

Hahaha I'm on a total PetiteKnit roll right now, I've finished an Ingrid Sweater for myself and I might knit one more for my husband! It's so much fun, and I think it would be doable for you! It would look amazing in the grey...I'm knitting on an Ankers Summer Shirt for my mum, and also not enjoying it a lot. It's a very slippery viscose yarn :( looking forward to woolly fall knits. As to the Cotton Merino, for some reasons I haven't found a good yarn in that combination. I tried a few but to me it seems they combine the downsides of the two fibers rather than the advantages. Greetings from Germany!
