Nilesh Dhal Well we all don‘t know how the iPhone 12 will be but I think if you‘re an Android user you can try Apple once. iPhone is easy to use but Androids do have a lot more features which were a bit too much for me.

S20 photos looked better in my opinion.

You can change saturation when about to take a picture on s20. I have some pictures that would blow your mind, using my 64mp camera.

Agree 100%. The S20 night shots obviously clearer, sharper, brighter and edges are much more defined. Just look at all the light features i.e. lamp posts etc.

Is samsung still smoothing skin with rear camera live focus pictures even with beauty mode turned off? Every samsung portrait shot seems to have smoothing going on after processing.

dynamic range in night mode was hugely better on the s20 in all pictures, for the colors I think you have the scene optimizer on in the s20, turning it off should make the colors much more closer to reality

yeah, possible, but most people don't even know what the scene optimizer is and what it does...so they will leave it on forever :)

Selfies in s20 looks good but in rear camera,both does almost the same performance.In some cases,I find the colours of Iphone 11 better than the s20.

Thank you, I was mainly interested into checking which portrait mode is better. Will stick to S20 ;)

Both really good cameras Personally I really like how the iPhone controls the highlights (clouds) in the daytime pictures, but then I really like how the Samung does the same in the night mode (streetlights).

super steady cannot be used for 4k recordings, only 1080p

Thanks for the review, but almost everything you said was wrong. S20 wipes the floor with the iphone on every single picture taken. Either you dont realize much about cameras. Or you are clearly sided with team Apple... Only at daytime video comparison the iphone was at the same level.

Samsung has more realistic skin tones. It shows the red in the faces. iPhone just makes faces either yellow or range to make them more pleasing.

Why do you call the iPhone landscape colors more close to reality when the iPhone has a very strong yellow greenish tint in the example picture around 1:30? It is very obvious also in the pictures at 3:22 and 3:29. The Samsung white balance is clearly more natural there. Also the S20 ultrawide is clearly better than the iPhone.

S20 was better in more 'categories' than the 11 so gets the nod from me. Neither really bad as expected at that price!

Looks like the regular (non ultra) S20 is a better choice than the..well.. ultra. Between the iphone 11 and the S20 pictures are very similar, but am i allowed to say the audio recording of the iphone is just plain rubbish? 🤣 I can barely hear your voice

I can never hear anyone when they call it’s always so crackly and when I turn on videos really loud it also has this crackly noise😭😂

Both are basically indistinguishable except for colors which btw, can be remedied thru editing softwares.

Had both phones. S20 exynos 990 have very poor battery life compared to iPhone 11

Better dinamic range on S20 in night time photos... Also and videos are better and pleasing on S20... The difference is a margin,anyway...

iPhone is better at stabilization than the s20 but s20 had a lot of good/better qualities for photos

Samsung's HDR in night time pictures is way better which is really important since at night there are a lot of lights in the darkness and the iPhone doesnt expose them properly

@MSD I agree. Oversharpening and too much noise reduction, magenta tint, clipping in highlights, HDR going nuts in nightmode creating huge halos, stabilization in video jumping around, bad DR in video etc. Not a big fan.

It's funny that Samsung is trying to avoid clipped highlights this year because normally they are the ones with more clipped highlights. They do have a slight black crush sometimes.

@@kirsten7975 hi I have been using it for almost 3.5 years now, this is the longest I have had a phone, and it served me me well in the beginning in terms of image quality and content watching. But now it lags and battery health is poor, plus the camera is not up to mark compared with newer phones. Will upgrade this year. From user experience perspective there are tiny things like wifi not disconnecting, copy-paste often not working that used to drive me mad in the beginning.

My brother in law has just bought an s20 and i played with its camera( im using a iphone 11 myself) and did not like the colors the grain and all from its camera. Im sure it can take fantastic pictures,but from what i can tell,the iphone takes consistently good pics whereas the s20 missed quiet a few.

no, the night mode doesn't work for the ultra wide camera on the iPhone.

Iphone is still the king of video. Samsungs photos much better and audio quality was much better

I will be coming. I haven't found any decent clones yet...it probably has to do with that thing in China

2:16 Look at the background behind and through the plants in the vase. Iphone left part of the building behind not blurred. That looks awful. Also the edge detection on it is not good.

I think S20 is better. And the total overall phone is incomparable. S20 destroys iP

zooming in video? is the s20 as smooth as iphone 11 while zooming in video?

my iphone 11 doesn't have a zoom lens...so can't say

@@RedskullPro You can still transition from ultra wide to wide to test that out :)
