update : i still love it.

I'll take the S20 all day long. 120hz display, 12gigs, base storage 128gb's, micro s/d. Multi-tasker, power share, to me it's just a better phone but your paying more, very good review!

The s20 4g is 799 at the time of release a 5g chip coat 100 ponds so its priced at 899 the plus is 999 and the ultra is 1199 this is uk prices whilst the iphone costs the same in America but the thing is in America you can get the s20 very cheap because it should be over a grand they only priced it at 999 at a 100 dollar loss per phone so more people could afford it whilst in the UK an iPhone is 200 ponds two much when you look at the convention rate it's a 500 odd pond phone with a 4 year out of date screen and notch sold for a ridiculous amount of money also the iphone 11 would be alot more than 100 more if it released last year with a 5g chip take the samsung Galaxy s10 5g for example

There’s more to it than that. You only live once so it’s good to try new things and who knows? Maybe a sceptical new iPhone user coming from android will ultimately enjoy the integration and fluidity that iOS offers. It’s not like iOS is just some piece of shit operating system and android is ultimately superior. There might be a toxic fan base but numbers don’t lie, there’s a reason iphones consistently beat out all the competition in single core scores. Everything is pretty much proprietary, allowing the hardware to work more seamlessly and efficiently with the software. Power isn’t everything though, and I’m the type of person who likes so customize and tailor my tech to my exact liking, so android is probably ultimately my preferred choice, but not everyone is like me and u, some people like simplicity.

Yeah they'd be better off just having a thin bar that stretchers across the screen. Would look a lot better imo, and I'd actually prefer a slight bezel to a notch or hole punch display.

My brother got an S20 while I got the iPhone 11. I admit the Android one has better specs and hands down a gorgeous screen, but as someone who has been an Android user all my life, switching to Apple was such an upgrade and I cannot pinpoint why exactly. It just knows what I want it to do? Less tacky and tbh I have never encountered an Android device that knew how to manage whites with the camera, and apps get abandoned by devs VERY fast.The only thing that could ever make me return to Android is budget constraint.

Highest I disagree because I know you’re talking about the notch on the 11. The notch debuted 2.5 years ago. Also the notch houses the most sophisticated tech out all front facing cams on smartphones these days. If anything the S20 is dated

Compare a bezeless android phone with lcd to apples iphone 11 lcd and the bottom chin is significantly smaller, the oled iphones have decent enough screen to body ratio and the X was the first smartphone with no chin But yea theres only so much you can do with Lcd so obviously the bezels will be larger

Evens Baptiste firstly apples Face ID is more secure that ultrasonic fingerprint. look it up. Yes Samsung has a better display but apples a13 chipset is lightyears ahead of Samsung’s snapdragon and soooo much better than the crappy exinos chip they use in other countries plus the iPhone 11 takes way better video than the s20 but the s20 has more camera features I say both phones are even

In some region, s20 have exynos chip and the price is the same as s20 with snapdragon, thats why i choose iphone 11 instead of s20 because i live in a region with exynos Chip

This is not a good comparison. As stated in your video the iphone 11 pro vs S20 would be a better comparison. The problem is that the S20 comes out on top specs wise with 120mhz display, more storage (128 gigs expandable) at base, better slow motion at 960fps, faster charging, higher resolution video recording, and it is thinner and lighter. All of this is done for a price that is way less than the 11 pro. In this comparison the 11 has far inferior specs at a price that is almost the same once you upgrade the memory to make them equal.

I have the Apple ecosystem, but this Samsung is beautiful 🥰

You should compare the non-5G model to the iPhone 11 series as any phone out that's 5G automatically adds $200 to the base price.

I want to go for Android I've been an Android girl since the Samsung. I like Android's for the innovation, expandable storage,USB C,more ROM,more RAM, fast chargers included,and lastly, customization. I like Apple as well for the security, chipset,liquid smoothness, and ecosystem etc.. I like that droids bring you more bang for you buck BUT one thing I absolutely cannot stand on droids is the system crashing or the lag ETC or just failure of perfecting the chipset.

How is it 8k on a 4k screen?

You can get the s20 for 200$-300$ off most places now

What is the answer to Galaxy having such great hardware but only updating for 2 years for os and a third for security vs Apple being able to go for 5 or more? I am on a Galaxy s8 now and I have loved the phone but that is my biggest issue. I'm not sure if it is secure to keep using what you have past the security updates stopping. In some ways Android's OS seems to be ahead of iOS so that part doesnt bother me. For example Apple is just now getting widgets and an app drawer. I have a MacBook but that's it in the Apple ecosystem. I would love to have your feedback to help make a better decision.

Both phones are legendary depending on what u like. Everyone is saying the iPhone 11 looks old but i see the future in it. Everyone says the S20 lags alot "because it's samsung" but how could it lag if the specs r double what apple could provide.

Great video! My s20 arrives soon - upgrading from an s8 👍🏻 honestly, even if iPhone had better specs and better everything, I'd still go for Samsung because of the fingerprint reader. I hate face unlocks, and will always opt for a fingerprint reader. I especially love the in-screen reader on the s10 and later.

I was fine with the Face ID but now that I work at a hospital and I'm wearing a mask all day thanks to COVID-19 it has become very annoying. The fact that I cannot create another Face ID with a mask on doesn't help. I'll 100% choose fingerprint reader.

You should have put camera samples.

Could have cleaned your table, I kept thinking I had bits of dirt on my screen. Good video but I stopped it by accident a few times trying to wipe your dirt off my screen 😂

Both are great phones that cater to different people. Neither phone is necessarily better than the other as both have their own strengths and weaknesses. All depends on which poison you pick and what your priorities are in a smartphone. But sheesh. The amount of android fanboys here is really something.

I love both samsung and iphone at there highest peak but the Android fan base is no different from apple fan base so any android user that says people only get the iphone for the fan or hype it is not true and your being a hypocrite , your getting the s20 for the same reason people are getting the 11 because you like it, your different from any phone user.( and this go for apple user)

I've always had a Samsung. Always gotten them since the S3, S5. Got the S6 , S7 got the S10. But I'm young. I think trying out new devices is great! Why lock yourself to one OS? So I'm going to try an iPhone and if it's not for me...I'll sell it and head back! I'm excited to try something new :)

S20 5g all the way, love mine

I went from s7 to s8 to s10 and just got the iPhone 11 because the burn in on Samsung oled panel’s is absolutely horrible the iPhone 11 gives you a good quality lcd panel that will never burn in and look just as good after years of use. My Samsung’s would b pink with burn in after only a few months and would get horrible after 6 to 9 months. The iPhone is so smooth compared to my s10 and the cameras aren’t even comparable. Go with the iPhone

Easy solution for that, turn on auto brightness. Never run an OLED screen on maximum brightness, it ruins the screen.

I didn’t want another phone that only lasts 6 months and I never did auto brightness it consistently kept it too bright. I’m on KZread a lot and it burns in too quickly on those junk screens.

Partner and I just upgraded our Samsung S10 phones yesterday. He went with the S20+ and I went back to Apple... iPhone 11. I love it. I couldn’t justify the extra cost for the Pro but I’ll consider it when the 12 comes out.

@@burritobunny6901 if you look at the specs of the iPhone 11 they are sorely disappointing has the iPhone 11 is a downgrade from the iPhone 10s as far as the quality of the screen. Just look at the specs on Google comparing the 2 phones. Only Apple would downgrade the screen resolution in it's latest model and the apple sheep will still pay a greater premium for it. Because Apple people don't know the specs of their phones they just know that they own the latest apple. 🍎 In fact furthermore the iPhone 11 is a downgrade from the iPhone 10. The screen doesn't even look as good as my note 9 or my S8 Plus. Yes, the new bionic chipset is fast but I just feel that Apple chances on specs and is more of a software company. People only use Apple for iMessage and airdrop. But you constantly pay more for substandard specs. I can build a Hackintosh for $500 that will chew up the new macbook pro.and then if you bring your broken Apple product to Apple they refuse to fix it they just tell you it's going to cost more to fix it than to buy a new one. Don't get me wrong I love their software. I just don't like their ethics. Apple like Harley-Davidson is just about an image and not about a real quality product.

The s20 has a nicer screen but iphone 11 has better software

I'm mad hes comparing a $1000 phone to a $700 phone of course the 11 wont be as good. A better comparison would be the 11 pro and s20. Or the 11 pro max and the s20 ultra.

In other countries, they're receiving a 4G version, so the prices become more comparable. You also need to consider that the $700 iphone has laughable storage, so you would at least want to get the 128 GB option.

Scalener nothing wrong with 64 gb. That’s the storage I would choose. Storage is really just based on the person and iPhone also doesn’t have an os that takes almost 20 gb like Samsung.

Nope most phone buy is iphone 11

People act as if that 5 year update for apple means they get everything as the new iphone... Sorry but no, Samsung in those two years will give more especially software wise.... I need more in a phone then a good camera honestly....

I can't go iphone. I like Google.. I don't see a purpose duying an iPhone and use Google apps on it so I'd rather use an android phone causd I'm more into Google services.

S20 will last you 3 years max iPhone will last you 7 years max. If you care about long term use and value then go for the iPhone if you care about short term cool factor go for the S20.

let alone iphone 11, S20 is alot cheaper then iphone xr in my country, lol

YO, I switched from longtime Apple use and my iPhone 7 broke and I was so happy to get a new Samsung and 🥳! I was about to take my old iPhone and new Samsung and LOST It so Lost All my stuff, I care but then again I DONT CARE I lost 'my whole' life on my old phone. I need a new start Samsung phones is all I want here on out

How is an iphone 6s holding its value compared to a Galaxy S6? Samsung makes phones with great features but after some years it becomes literally trash. Android cannot update regularly to all of the android phones that exist which are thousands. Apple has released around 20 iphones since it launched in 2007. Iphones drop around 25-30% in price after the first year but Samsung drops around 40%. If you're looking for a budget phone then Android is the better option, but a flagship phone in both brands is worth very similarly.

I’ve IPhone XS as daily driver should I go for s20 or buy iPhone 11 ?

The 11 wouldnt really be an upgrade. Worse screen, aluminum instead of stainless steel. It just has slightly bettr cameras and the a13 chip. Wait for the 12
