Samsung has better display, pretty much the same camera. On paper the S20s seems better spec wish, but the realistic colors and post processing of Apple phones is unmatched. Plus the 11 is much cheaper. For me, 11 is the clear winner. Although Samsung is tough too if you have the money.

Not as if I want to keep a phone for half a decade. I would probably use it for for 3 years. But I will correct you on small part. Its 2 years of software update and 1 year of security update.

Sub 2 me for No reason the s20 screen is also 3 gens ahead of the iPhone screen which hasn’t been changed since 2017. When the X originally debuted their screens were rated higher than Samsung’s GS8.

Sub 2 me for No reason nothing to do with lazy. Apple simply cannot make changes like Samsung does from gen to gen because of the sheer volume of units that Apple ships. It makes it logistically impossible to innovate at the same rate that a lot of the Android OEMs do. If Samsung was shipping 40 million units of the GS10 per quarter you wouldn’t see such massive changes to the GS20. Apple is a victim of its own success in that regard. The bigger the ship is the harder it is to steer. They can’t duck and dodge and weave like a speed boat to constantly react and adapt according to market trends and innovations. So instead they take their time and build up to making changes years in advance. Read an article on Bloomberg about a year ago that was talking about how Apple is always working 3 years ahead of any iPhone release. They know now what the iPhone in 2021, 2022 and 2023 will look like and what features they will have. But they just can’t debut all that new tech straight away because it’s impossible to do at such a massive scale.

Speed tests are pointless. Both phones are just as fast and you won't notice tiny differences. Battery/camera tests matter way more

The way he responds to a gaalxy win and downplays it immediately and overplay the iphone win doesn't auger well for a KZreadrs credibility

The thing that amazes me the most is that the performance for the two phones are remarkably similar but the iPhone 11 starts at $700 while the S20 starts at $1,000. I'm only referring to the performance not the display as the S20 display is far more advanced. The thing that keeps me from getting an S20 are the poor updates. Samsung only does 2 years of OS updated and 3 years of security patches. iPhone will give you 5. I have a Galaxy S8 and will not get Android 10. I will get 1 more year of security updates but I'll never get anything else besides Android 9. Meanwhile my office phone is a iPhone 7 with iOS 13 and Apple will update it until 2022. The Galaxy S8 and iPhone 7 were released in 2017. I decided I won't spend more than $700 on an Android and it's worth buying a iPhone 11 Pro Max only because I know it last me at least 5 years because Apple will support it. My iPhone 7 works seamlessly still.

I have the Ultra, and the 120hz takes its toll on the battery. My Pro Max destroys the battery of the Ultra in 120hz, but the smoothness is worth it.

I think that without 120 hz, it's better to buy the s10... I mean if finely a consumer will have to think all the time between 60 or 120 hz because of battery life, i don't know if it worth to buy.

I personally don't like that when you open an app on the S20, the app looks to load faster. The phone only loads the picture, but when you try to scroll down, it laggs... In the 11, the load looks slower, but if you open the app it will work fine and does not start to lag.

We all know that Samsung is going to be much slower in few years and as I am choosing phone for long term use, I will get an Iphone 🤗 (All my life I have been using samsung)

Too true. My galaxy s7 edge became useless, my s8 became useless. However my iPhone 8 Plus has been going strong for 3 years without a single issue. Look forward to getting my iPhone 12 tomorrow to enjoy for another 3 years.

I own an s20 and I honestly I don't know why your s20 stays in landscape mode for a second when you exist some of the apps. Mine doesn't do that.

You could try a test of seeing the maximum amount of apps the s20 can hold in ram before it needs to refresh an app

The smoothness,the awesome colours on the display and features make the s20 in my eyes a lot more appealing than the iPhone not to mention the more futuristic design of the s20 I would go for s20

Uhm, you actually swipe up to go Home more often than turn off the phone, so you’ll basically notice more often that the Samsung will stay in landscape for a while before it rotates to regular portrait mode.

Hey Nick, what about testing the Wifi speed? at Notebookcheck I have discovered the S20 literally is like 30% faster than the iPhone, both in transfer and receiving data. Why?

What I like about devices that have Google Play Store is they have Emulators. I can play Mario and Pokemon and like 50 other old games that were on Super NES, GameBoy, PSP and PS1. I also like that the Phone is basically like a USB Drive and can hold data that you can access in multiple ways. They also allow MicroSD Cards to be put inside the Phone. Apple Devices. I like the picture it displays when watching 2K and 4K Videos and I can play App Games with better performance. Also I can wirelessly transfer files from PC to Phone App. :) I admit they are more strict when it comes to Emulators and they are missing some Apps in the Apple Store that I find useful on Google Store Devices.

I mean if you want to knit pick about the smallest things. In developer setting in the s20, you can disable animations. Don't know if that would help, just a heads up.

Honestly I rather have a flat screen with bezels instead of a unpractical curved screen

When it came to opening up the speed test app it low-key looks like your right finger hit the iPhone before your left did. Very hard to tell though. Maybe because of the Ultra's big camera on the left, causing it to tilt when you hit it. Just wanted to put that out there. Enjoy watching your reviews! 👍🏽

You can turn on the fingerprint location hint on the Samsung phones. Tap to show and always show. It's available to all Samsung phones with always on display.

They are both great phones, I would be happy with either .. I don’t buy my phones outright so my IPhone 11 is a carrier phone but gets fast and regular updates which is important to me .. Again I am happy on either platform ...

Actually samsungs s20 has better quality than iphone.

Despite being A13 a year old chipset it's still faster than the newer Snapdragon 865.

If your eyes get use to 120 hz. When you look at a 60hz it will feel like it's stuttering

Only some games had 120HZ refresh rate..... Only trend in 2020 but 60 Hz in iPhone is better than 120 HZ

We cannot do a inter os speed test because the apps may me be optimized differently accordingly to every os!

You have to at least appreciate how apps are more optimized for the iPhone

Wait. Isn’t the S20 a competitor to the iPhone 11 Pro? The S20+ to the pro max and the S20 ultra being a whole other animal to the others? Just saying price wise.

What I like in fact that if phone has LCD IPS it is much better off with no horrible screen flicker like OLED does give you headache and eyes strain. How can you cope with 240hz flicker that mentioned in notebook check? No I don't think so some people are sensitive to flicker, and I am the one is sensitive to.

Apple be like : Come after 5 years you (samsung) will be on ventilator 😂😂.

Parker Wilkins I tried both oneUI 2.0 as well as iOS 13.4. To me iOS works much better, have you tried both?

@@adalbert93_75 yes I had the iphone 11 pro max for a while but then I switched to the note 10+ and realized how much better one ui was, then I got the s20 ultra and it is way more smooth

My opinion on apple 11 vs samsung s20. Just get any phone which u prefer. One is better than other in its own way. So it depends on personal preference.

This is basically the argument when comparing any two phones (especially Android vs iOS) but people always wanna talk trash about the other because of their bias towards one instead of realizing that both phones are amazing in their own respects. There doesn't always have to be a "better phone."

can you please do a battery drain test between them !!

Why arent you compare s20 with exynos vs ip 11? I think in this situation is the speed very similar.... but exynos is more slowly than ip 11

Aside FaceID, I think the S20 is much better in every category...

@Emily Welson so? Who cares about that 1 sec difference. Keep your iPhone to yourself. If he likes samsung more, then don't try to convince him that iPhone is better

lol u get software updates for 2 years compared to ios which is 5 years or more😏

@@mraadi7866 so 5 years of slowing down ur phone is better than 2 years of not slowing down ur phone and u get an outdated look and display with that and the 5 watt charger vs the 25 watt charger and u dont even get a 1080p instead u get a 720p display vs the 1440p display at the samsung so its obvios that the samsung is the better choice

Why does the scrolling on android seems slower and laggy?

Install galaxy labs from galaxy store, it has apps optimization and more efficient battery life which rocks. And game becomes much faster in galaxy
