Watching this on my S20 after upgrading from my 3 year old S8! This is easily the best and most amazing phone I've ever owned man, I'm in love. Now to got a dbrand skin in white and nice clear case haha. If anyone's on the fence about the S20, you will be blown away how amazing it performs, highly recommend.

NO one cares about foldables. And the tech will never exist for a foldable to where it's perfect. there will always be a crease in the screen. It's dying off as we speak, no one cares about it honestly.

@@nickackermanchannel Only 1 row but still kinda useless if we are talking testing speed and RAM. A S8 could hang in there opening those apps and keep em open without effecting pretty much anything else during the test. Also the amount of time you guys leave the apps open make huge difference on RAM management (but I guess that means apple not so impressive what they can do with 4 GB because it will restart everything.)

Great video Nick! They are both wonderful phones. I picked the S20+ because I'm just in the ecosystem. I don't need to buy cables for iPhone, or an apple watch, etc. I am impressed on how much Apple has improved. I just wish Samsung gave their flagships many years of software support just like the iPhone.

You do realize that making the phone fast isnt the only job ram does. If the s20 actually had 12× faster phone, it would probably explode immediately. What the 12-16 ram does is keeps the phone running like it has a stable and completely fixed 4-5 GB of ram without any drawback because of how many runnjng apps the 12-16 GB can hold. On the other hand iphone only has 4 GB, therefore slowing down after it's like 10th app use. The ultra overall is way ahead of iphone even if the processors speed is like 2mil secs behind, you really wont notice.

if you disable the swipe to unlock for the samsung it will be faster than the iphone, i tried it myself with my s10 vs an iphone11 and the s10 won somehow.

Hard to beat higher tier hardware, 120hz refresh rate 240hz touch sample (than 60hz -120hz ts). It will always be scientifically smoother with more frames loaded.

I really want to give Samsung a chance again. My first phone is a Note 2 and I had pretty bad experience with it (I know it’s not the same now). I switched to Apple starting with the 6s and I’m very happy with it. I’m still very curious to try the new Samsung flagship phones but only thing holding me back now is that only the Exynos variant is sold here in my country and I’ve read a lot of negative feedbacks about it as compared to Snapdragon.

I got the Note20 Ultra 5G Mystic Bronze it's insanely fast and smooth with 120hz and 12GB Ram the one ui 2.5 its crazy

iOS has a far superior ram management. With only 4GB of ram on my 11 Pro Max, I can have the webbrowser, facebook, messenger, youtube, instagram, reddit, spotify, quora and even a game running in the background without systematically reloading. On Android, it takes 12GB of ram to replicate the same thing.

Ram is Ram doesn't matter how great Apple's management is, reality is it can't keep near as many apps open and running. That's 1 of the reasons the battery standby is so great, it closes everything.

Honestly don’t understand speed tests for opening apps. I understand doing a speed test to test how fast a webpage can load. Or even just how easy/ fast it is navigating the phone. But it’s 2020. Phones are basically the same. If a phone doesn’t open an app then the phones broken.

Also some apps are better optimised for iPhones because there are so few of them. Compared to the thousands of Android devices out there, the few models of iphones (not just iphones, everything running iOS in general) make it easy for app developers to optimized their app better.

you can see the iphone will load 2 ỏ 3 pape on web and disconet but samsung load 5 ỏ 10 or more.

Its weird that the S20 cant keep youtube in the ram, but sometimes i only had my youtube in the ram and it still reloads :/

Bro also not about opening game first it all about in the game I can brearly play cod on high graphics on the iphone 11 it lag alot the graphics I use is medium and high fps but on my friend s20 fe he plays it on high graphics no lag

S 20 plus was the last Samsung I have bought. To much junkware on it difficult to remove, plus their super amoled screen last for 2 years before you see ghost images. My bf when he bought iPhone 7 he just replaced it to iPhone 11, his iPhone 7 still works its screen is a bright as when he bought it. Since then I had two s7 edges both screens went bad, then s9 and now s20 plus. No more Samsungs for me.

I’ll start by acknowledging that yes 120hrz is nice but I hate how now if you don’t have it then you’ll say the iPhone is choppy with scrolling. No it’s not as smooth but it’s by no means choppy in any way. And on another note foldables are meh I’d personally never buy one even when they become mainstream unless I absolutely had too. There just not practical to me. The iPhone 11pro max or even the galaxy s20 ultra fit in my pockets no problem and I don’t have to unfold to get that big screen so it’s just not something I’m into

Last time I watched this one with his Vs featuring Note 10 plus..he had a million excuses for why the iPhone 11 Max was losing...lol

4gb Vs 12gb for the same price, Samsung's software is way more advanced and can do 100 things more than iOS which does less things than a Nokia symbian os, imagine price of iPhone with 12gb ram and imagine Samsung with iOS (which takes less than a GB to run) or imagine iPhone with Samsung's UI (it would run slow because Samsung's software is heavier and more advanced in my eyes)

Enserio no creo necesario hacer este tipo de comparaciones ... ambos van muy rapido, el iPhone ira un poco mejor... pero ... y las FUNCIONES EXCLUSIVAS que tiene el S20 y Android, con respecto al iPhone... eso es lo que deberian comparar
