A fan noticed this was filmed on April 6th, before our latest update. Hopefully the recent patch helps!

This makes me want a mod thats just a blown up Italy with more factions and settlements, pre roman takeover

@MELKOR Thank you for covering the Samnites, they are my current go-to faction. Sorry about the crashing. I've been actively trying to identify what it is, but even the Feral devs haven't been able to pick it out. :( And the reason why there were generals with the same name is because that was historical. Lots of repeat nomens. Also, part of my AI modding has the AI constantly calculate whether it should fight a battle or just withdraw when facing impossible odds (as to why the reinforcing army withdrew). I'll check on the unit stats.

So just to explain the buildings in the mod. You have to destroy and remake buildings to get your own units (or upgrade the buildings to the next tier), to get your own units to be available in them to recruit. This is a much easier way of managing the integration mechanic from mods like RIS. And yeah, the crashing stuff is something that the modder is trying to figure out. It's my favourite mod due to the huge scope of things in it.

i question the choice of adding lots of faction specific cults in this mod. In BI the religion mechanic was used to represent the polarizing issues of faith, shifting beliefs of the time, and all the ensuing problems it made for managing public order. Problems that were generally a non-issue during this time period. Aside from maybe Judaism, I can think of any cults whose faith would have made themselves any less unnameable to a sudden regime change.

@@emperorofthegreatunknown4394 So the requirement for the culture is for the player only, to keep the game easy for the AI to understand. And the cults are meant to represent culture more than religion, this is just the most visible way of going about it.

You will need to clear out your cache and update to the newest version of the mod.

Samnite campaign looks wack especially with the Roman families surrounding you. Definitely doable if they get units similar to the Roman legions. Too bad it crashed tho…

Should have started the campaign diplomatically and improve the capital.

I'm not sure I even saw Carthage even ones be useful, what a shame.

Try the Etruscan League if it works again...

The crashes does make the mod a bit unplayable I was really far into an Epirus campaign and then in crashed and I was unable to load the save

I cant play the game since December crashing, the keyboard not working in the game and the screen too. I prefer the original.
