It's kinda funny how your general can't even lift it's phalanx because it overlaps with the rally ability. Thank for bringing up silly stuff like this in your challenges.

"I can't believe it; a RTW campaign where money is going to be the problem." I took years playing the game with cheatcodes, or at a medium -50K, bc I couldn't figure it out... Once I figured it out, I kept struggling, until I realised having 30+ settlements, with every settlement stacked plus half of them with an extra full-stsck army to back-up wasn't really a good plan, nor necessary. 😂

Wait, is this modded? because in the base game even with an Army Barracks you can only make Spartans in Sparta or Syracuse xD (I should have watched the video before commenting :P)

Ahh the greek cities, easily the playthru with my most kills, love those brigde outpost battles. I remember escorting 3 generals and 3 spartan units to mann my 3 empty settlements. We got ambushed by a full army of purple roman soldiers with archers cavalry decent footment. My spartans fought very valiantly. Their cavalyry was no match against my 3 generals but they were too numerically advantageous. I had to form my 3 spartans to form a triangle formation to deflect their many archers. My men fought bravely and luckyly my generals were able to breakthru from the enemy cavalry and managed to retreat at the edge of the map. I may lost the battle, but saved 3 hardened generals at the cost of 3 spartan cohorts

I did something like this as the rebels and I played as on Greek rebel city and left the other cities alone and when I ran out of money I cheated some in but regulated myself to a fair amount but when all the rebel cities were taken I would no longer cheat in money and I would take other rebel settlements by putting troops there and then I allowed myself to control the other city

You shouldn't strech out the Phalanx too much. If it is just 3-4 men deep, it is much harder for Cavalry to jump over it

Hi Melkor big fan! I need help I want to try very hard campaign and very hard battles. But I want to try it with Spartan Hopiites recruited in every city.... Can that me modified somehow? Can you tell me how to do that or if there is guide for that? Thanks :)

on turn 1 of not modded game with Greek Campaign, I hire mercenaries and attack the Romans in Sicily while simultaneously attacking Corinth; highest taxes I can take; withig 20 turns I have a solid position and income and can declare smooth sailing; the Romans Brutii and Scipii knocked out if focused within 10 - 15 years (20-30 turns)

How to change my general unit to spartan?

Where can I get the mod for generals are also Spartans?

why didnt you send your troops on the walls after they lost their ram?

I was thinking the same thing! Because at that point they only had one ladder and it would have been a chokepoint. He might have been able to hold syracuse. Fate gave him a huge chance there haha

I will add 200 views each video myself, if 10 other people do it we can bump this campaign up, i want spartan only wc! (I am an infantry + archer player, so i love playing rome/Greece)

I tried this a couple of weeks ago and i had to reinstall the whole game lmao.

Can't you train Spartans everywhere as long as you follow shrine of Nike building chain?

nope. To get Spartans, in vanilla, you need the hidden Spartan resource. which I beleive is only in Sparta and Syracuse.

Yep, as said in the video: Spartans are not just limited to Pergamon and Sparta. Generals are also Spartans, and Spartans train in 1 turn, rather than 2 - to keep the series shorter.

You waited way too long to attack Athens.
