I want to understand @shatakshisharma, is it a given that one would become VC only through the Consulting or an IB route? What if someones had considerable Tech/Product mgmt experience?🤔

I am cuet aspirant and jee aspirant and interseted in finance and tech so , through srcc can i went into top pe firms like blackstone , krk and caralyle and cause I observe if engineer went to mba then he went to bcg , mckinsy but through srcc he can direct got into bcg etc

Yeah definitely you can get into these prestigious PE firms. A lot of SRCC students work there who have a MBB experience. Though KKR & TPG only recruits bankers but other PE firms are more towards consultants. Yeah but getting there is difficult because you will have competition from people with consulting and banking background and from academi pedigree from IIT SRCC CAs for very few positions. All the best! By the way I myself am a CUET aspirant & want to study eco in SRCC.

Number doesnt matter. Quality matters. Eg-1 year in Mckinsey, BCG should be sufficent to be considered.
