snake cake easy... do a heap of cupcakes and is it the orange snake that Freya wants ? Put orange frosting on the cupcakes and line the cupcakes on a platter in the shape of the snake and put a face on the first cup cake. You can also put green lollies around the rest of the cupcakes so it looks like the snake is slithering thru grass.

Hi Claire, this is the Time Lord from the future--it's July where I am! Thanks for the fun video--you might think they are boring, but they never are---baby babbling, crawling through cat doors, news of Freyja's birthday---already 3? I love that she wanted it in the shape of a snake! What a creative thinker! How quickly the last year has gone by. My fridge broke and I have to wait 8 more days til I get one delivered, so I bought a camper box, and every day I go get ice for it. Hard to keep any leftovers, so I am cooking in tiny proportions! (PS can you please tell me again how to spell Freyja?)

❤️ I ended up getting chocolate mini rolls and loads of sweets for her to decorate it like a snake herself. She had great fun! (And we got covered in icin) xx

for a snake cake, try making a regular square cake, cut into three long pieces, stagger them slightly diagonal, shave the top down, cover in icing and add eyes

I'm on the "Oh, your haul is so cheap" side. Our prices are double and sometimes triple what yours are. But I love watching them and hearing what you're going to do with the things you bought. You're such inventive cook if needed but also a great conventional cook. A rare thing these days. Take care! 🥰🐢

I made a honey, garlic and soy sauce marinade and popped them in the airfryer 😊 xx

If you ever want a different curry try keema matar, it is a lovely mince beef/lamb and pea curry, similar in taste to the filling of samosas, it is not saucy and is fantastic with roti/chapatis or if you are feeling extravagant parathas. Love the idea of the soup :)

Have you looked at making chilla or chickpea flour wraps - there’s a million recipes on KZread - it’s a great way to use up besan flour rather than it lingering indefinitely in the cupboard

I bought gluten free garofalo pasta in Costco. Was £8/9. For 6 bags, so I thought that was a really good price for nice gf pasta! Funny how your aubergine was missing, I was missing a cucumber this week from my delivery, I'm sure I saw it at the front door, then never saw it again!! Xx

We call your fridge tapas a picky tea , but I like fridge tapas better, cake Swiss roll or cupcakes , my mom and I’ve done make butterfly or lady bird cake with a Victoria sponge icing and smarties , but I done Swiss roll cakes I do a chocolate log every Christmas two Swiss rolls cut one and chocolate buttercream as my kids love buttercream xxxx happy 3rd birthday🎉, not long till you looking for nursery and schools little ones grow up far too quick ❤

Yes Tom Finney Way! It's only open certain days a week so check their website. There's a couple of porta cabins with the furniture, then the main shop inside. The best aisles are the cook ware and right at the back (behind the clothes and the kids toys) theres some random shelves that's an absolute gold mine of household bits xx

Do you know that broccoli would have never made it out to the shelf in our shops in Tokyo. What on earth is happening to your supermarkets. Your daughter sounds like my 2 year old but it’s baby tomato tax in our house. We don’t bother with meal planning as we eat out a lot as it very cheap.

It’s not cheap to eat out here so it’s a once a month treat for us sadly. Shame about the broccoli but it was only one floret. Waste not want not 😊 xx
