Hello from the future! Good to see you, Claire and Ed. Hope your eye healed quickly. On Saturday I mostly just got some groceries and tried to recover my life in Canada, having been away since Feb in the deep south. Not as lovely as seeing bluebells, for sure! You got some terrific finds at that recycle store. What a lovely weekend you had!

I am sorry about your eye and I hope it will be back to normal very soon. I loved the brisk jaunt in the woodlands. Very hot here where I live today. Chilly one day,boiling the next. I dread Summer.

Thank you, it's better than it was. My mum keeled over laughing. One of my very earliest memories is my little sister doing the exact same thing to our mum with a jigsaw piece. It's still cold here (2-3 degrees overnight) but we have a random day next week due to be 21 degrees! I'm about the retire the woodburner for the season xx

I still get big fruit boxes and that size depends what fruit and veg your getting using those boxes

What a fabulous bargain those pans were! Loved everything about your vlog. Delightful walk, adorable cat, great food haul and some yummy food. Think I may need to cook a fry up for myself 😂 My weekend highlight was in the cooking department: made a batch of homemade chicken soup, and tried a Swedish recipe : beef a La Lindstrom which is the yummiest burger I’ve ever tried (beef mince, beetroot, capers Dijon mustard, anchovies, mashed potato)

Raspberries, I find do not have staying power. When I buy raspberries I must eat them the day I buy them or the following day. By the third day they are getting fuzzy. They are delicious though.

That is fantastic

I take the wild garlic and blend it with olive oil and seasoned with salt. For using on bread Used to be a lot better when the price of oil wasn't so high 😅

This weekend hubby took youngest daughter out as I’m new knee post op two weeks so my weekend doing my physio with painkillers staples come out Thursday yeahhhhh then hopefully in a couple weeks I can go out in a car, not been able since my accident in November lucky I found your vids and box sets lol xxx love Yorkshire but live in the midlands lots of museums to take kids we don’t live to far from cosford air museum it’s free just need to pay for parking my daughters love the planes some they can sit in and great pubs child friendly near by. We live just in the edge of a city it’s green farm land behind us with cancel walks it was great in lockdown and Sunday sunny afternoon. Great vid as always to be fair my hubby would be all over the sticky toffee pudding too 😂

My wife just bought a cast iron casserole dish she read you must not put them in dishwasher you got a good bargain there keep up the videos me and my wife watch we have a great laugh at you two😅

Oh definitely one to hand wash! And don’t use anything too abrasive. If things get burned on I find the best way to clean it without using anything too harsh is either using salt as an abrasive and a damp cloth, or boiling a little water and baking soda in it on the hob to lift it xx

Wish our tip did that my husband worked there for a while and was horrified about what was skipped they weren’t allowed to take anything out or even give it to charity, ( cumbria )

Ah that’s a shame! Last time I was there myself and an employee intercepted a lovely lady who was about to skip a paddling pool (which he took for his grandkids) and some garden border edging that I took. They are very pro reducing waste to landfill here which is lovely. The staff are on guard to stop anything from going into a skip that could be resold or recycled xx

Yes, we live in Leyland, where is Tom Benson way? Ed always makes me laugh when he is with you with magic boxes or bags, he gets really excited if there is something for him, his face is a picture, love him lol, I am so wanting to go to the recycle shop, I love going to charity shops, I usually get loads of books, I am an avid reader and it saves me pounds getting them in thrift shops, hope your eye is better soon.

Those cast iron pans are a steal well done 👏 well worth it. I was at the allotment saturday then back home to work on our campervan conversion I stocked up on beed joints when they were on offer and now guess what .. my teens gone off beef 😂 also gone off "dinners" 😂

Off dinners? Are they feeling ok? I actually grew up in Northumberland for a few years and Beamish was always on the school trips! That and Cragside. We’ve got a holiday in Kielder coming up which I’m very excited about! X

Really, I'm not in UK, but Ireland. I don't know if they're native or spanish bluebells, I typically see spanish and not native here sadly. I've spent the last few years trying to get rid of Spanish bluebells from my garden.

I love those pans . Went into harajuku as the boss is obsessed with my kids. And kept giving them treats. Went to a cat cafe as the dog hates cats so this our solution. It’s called coca it’s really popular with bloody influencers so I we don’t go as often. And then went food shopping later to grab bargains!! And to fight off the grannies Which is always a challenge. But we did grab some great stuff like Salmon and fried chicken which ed would die for!!
