Fun! Same here, just use what you have and go with it. I make the "same" dishes alot but they never fully taste the same. It's whatever is on hand goes in the pot!😁

That sounds wonderful! Our house originally had a boiler on the back of the wood stove but the previous owners ripped it out and replaced it with an electric fan heater… we put a wood burner back in when we bought the place. It’s been invaluable in keeping the heating bills down xx

@@mumthings absolutely. Forgot to add the Ironheart is also an oven and two hot plates. Saves us a fortune. Occasionally too hot 🥵

Fantastic ideas, my girls loved cooking with mom just test they called it , French pizza always hit with my girls, and garlic bread to be fair anything with cheese onions, peppers they take or leave meat but vegetables can’t eat enough older one been known to eat peppers like apples ❤

Have you tried asparagus in the airfryer yet? I had it for the first time this week - just a bit of oil and salt and pepper 6-8 mins on roast in my ninjav - delicious! The second time I added some grated Parmesan for the last few mins and it was so so good! I have a general fear of deep frying but the pakoras have me considering it…chicken pakoras are just grown up nuggets aren’t they!

Back in't day cornedbeef used to be cheap but its not now, love corned beef hash 😋 I made ribs the other week and omg they were so good, you've made me want ribs 😂 Taco soup looks delicious 😋 Never made pakora but its on the menu for next week!!! How did the reheat go with the pakoras ? I get lamb only when it's yellow.sticket but my husband does work for.a farmer thinking about buying a whole.lamb as will be cheaper I think 🤔 😅

🤣 he’s a pro. Ah no it’s not cheap now! At least £2.50 a tin! The pakora reheated really well but I did cut the veggie ones in half to reheat so they got hot all the way through before they got singed. One of Ed’s colleagues has a farmer in the family who’s possibly going to sell us a half lamb 🤞 worth doing if you have the freezer space! Xx

"You will find that is not a corned beef hash" I say with my most indignant voice, I love how much household staple/favourites vary from person to person. It makes food so interesting (not that I ever lacked an interest in food lol) and who cares what someone calls it, if you enjoy it call it what you want (except shepherds pie being made with beef then you shall call forth the ire of a whole nation) for example to me that looked and sounded more like stovies and when I last made sausage stovies someone called it sausage casserole lol. I hate how expensive sheep is, it is my favourite meat. I love the pakora too, deep frying chicken always terrifies me. My cats recognise not only the tuna tin being opened but any plastic package being ripped open summons the demons to the kitchen to demand their tax in offcuts of meat, I definitely do not mind as between my gullet, the cats and dogs there is very very little food waste in the flat :)
