    Thanks for this Matt! I'm pretty sure this is the problem I'm having . . . lean codes on both banks. I think I've "rough handled" everything between the throttle and the air filter and out of ignorance, I could easily have cracked the plastic.

    I replaced mine with a new unit prior to getting the lean codes but maybe it’s the source…. Thanks for sharing.

    Did you ever get it solved ? It’s usually the resonator, but the latest video/lean code was from the oil filler neck. It’s not the most durable item on this truck 😬

    @@mirepoixmatt1 I thought that I had it resolved by changing the air intake box (there was a crack) but the codes eventually returned. I’ll check the oil filled neck…

    Smoke is your friend. The cost of the machines have come down so much.. but hopefully you sorted this out.

    @@mirepoixmatt1timely message. I was able to get it to pass emissions last year but it’s that time again and the codes have come back😩

    I smoke tested my land rover, right where the mass air flow sensor connects smoke came out.... should that be. can that cause a lean codes

    Any air entering beyond where the ,MAF sensor is will cause the car not to be happy.
