Sparkspitter's ability doesn't work with Obeka. The tokens have the sac written on the card, so they will attempt to sacrifice every endstep.

Heat Shimmer was a card I also considered for Obeka, but it says "at the beginning of the end step", which will cause you to have to sac the copy during your opponents' turns

This was great. I was searching for a Obeka deck!!

This could make a sweet theft commander around cards like act of treason if it works like I think it does.

We're looking for "at the beginning of the next end step" effects. Act if treason and similar cards are "end of turn" effects. These don't work because there is no trigger. It just happens. Where as with "next end step" effects, when we go to said end step, the respective effects will trigger and go on the stack. Then we can end the turn with Obeka or Sundial of the infinite, and the triggered ability will be removed from the stack. The card still saw the ability trigger, therefore it won't trigger again. It has already seen the next end step.
