I really appreciate the effort you took to document this journey. Before traveling on this path, who else is planning to travel? A few things need to be done beforehand. Before embarking on your journey, be sure to pack some food that is packaged sustainably, as there are no shops until you reach the final checkpoint. There are certain hazardous areas along the way to Lord Ayyappa's shrine, and a Kerala forest officer confirmed that a swami had died while crossing one of these places just the day before. As a result, they advised against taking this particular route. It is entirely up to you to assess the risks and decide whether or not you wish to travel this path in order to see Lord Ayyappa. I personally do not recommend taking kids and elder people in this way.

Virtual Q not required for this route.. they will allow us directly. This route will directly take us to sanidhanam.. no need to wait in big queues

Swamiye Saranam Ayyappaa. Vanakam Swami all vehicles are allowed to reach satram. But it's a challenging route for heavy vehicles. No restrictions as of now.

Swami Sharanam Ayyappa, once we reach sanidhanm from thier how do we reach back the place where we left our vehicle and if any facility available how long it takes to reach and another one question will they allow civil person to travel in this route if they booked on virtual q but without irumudi.

Without Irumudi 18 steps not allowed 18 steps means Padinettam Padi . Civil dress From other gate are allowed. After Darshan at Sannidhan you can Reach Pamba . From there to Neelamala parking places. ( I went 20 years back . I remember its Neelamala for sure . Its about 12 Kms away from Pamba ) sannidhan to Pamba 6 kms down hill . Lakhs together Devotees will be there in season December to Jan , Crowd will gradually less in February , March . Please check again to confirm this.

@srinivasamurthy4739 Yes why not ? There is no such restrictions to visit the temple . You will not be allowed through 18 holy steps withoutIrumudi. But civil dress will be allowed through another way to visit the temple and Ayyappa . I also learned about pullumedu route today itself through this vedio .

It was a tough route.. I took this route on 25th Dec 2023. Returning back via the same route is a nightmare.. I took small path (pamba) and reached back via bus to take my car for the Satiram (pullmedu starting point)

It depends on the rush in Sannidhanam. Whatever before 7am officials won't be allowed to start trekking before 7am from Satram.

That's good question. I forgot to give an answer to this question in the video. No separate Q for the devotees coming from Pullumedu. Allowing devotees to claim Holly 18steps purely depends on rush and officials there. Else we have to have darshanam through CIVIL DARSHANAM Q only.

Swami saranam Ayyappaa... Sabarimalai is in the reserve forest Swami.... Before 1950s Sabarimalai got only 2 route one is periya pathai (traditional path) which is 36km and other one is Pullumedu pathai.. start and end point are these two only Swami...

Dont use this way its very dangerous. While we were going through this route all of them were blaming youtubers for publicizing thia route. It is a dangerous route mostly this route should be avoided by children and elder people it is not 12km

Swamiye Saranam Ayyappaa. Swami in my video I've clearly said that., to pass through this route one should have big belief in the lord and need to move on with his grace. Also said while bringing children and unhealthy persons one should be very cautious as there are no supportive or emergency services. I say it louder and stronger, disputing future resistance... Please don't come to sabarimalai as a tourist place or place where we get everything or go there with a reason like desire, to see nature, to enjoy, or to escape or without complete fasting and never expect anything which we can get in our very normal life except his darshan at any cost. Sabarimalai is the place where the lord and his followers become one. His guidance, guidelines and rules of fasting is to find the lord in them and to become the lord himself.

Kindly say to your friends and others not to go to sabarimalai who say that I was the video of Sabarimalai so they are going and see it directly. Instead guide them to know the sabarimalai and Ayyappan and his procedures and then decide...and go.... To everyone, as I'm an Ayyappan devotee I say Kindly undergo the fasting procedure as your body supports your mind and heart to feel the lord in you and go to sabarimalai without expecting anything security, safety, water, food, relation and see the miracle happening in you.. within you... Only that I expect there... When I videograph the sabarimalai I get scared and be very cautious that I should not exceed the fasting procedures and just show I see... Not for promoting sabarimalai and to promote the Pullumedu or to promote periya pathai (traditional path of Sabarimalai). Actually Ayyappa doesn't need it too... I and pure devotees know he is untouchable with praise and criticism... Swami saranam Ayyappaa
