Ryobi 4 Volt USB Lithium Screwdriver kit (Twist Grip Screwdriver)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I’m always on the lookout for a good small cordless screwdriver for a variety of uses in the garage and around the house and I’m a bit of a Ryobi fan. So when I saw the 4 Volt lithium USB rechargeable cordless screwdriver on sale, I had to grab one.
It also doesn’t hurt if you’re already invested in the 4V battery platform as I am.

Wish the ryobi 4 volt batteries could be charged while in the item or Tool they run think ryobi should give both charging options charge battery while out of Tool or charge battery while in tool

I think this would be pretty handy for little jobs around home. I could have used one of these a few years ago when I was assembling a plastic shed that had a bucket load of fasteners. I put them all in by hand as I know that the plastic is thin and easy to strip out. This seems to have just enough power to get the job done and I assume that the last bit of tightening can be done manually. Thank you for the review.

I agree with you 100%. It get used the most on projects around the house or doing interior work on vehicle. Low torque applications. Yes, it can be used manually

Awesome B🎸《☆》Aircraft interiors do have a Million Screws👍🏾🥤🤳I never saw the need for a Cordless Screwdriver. One of my Colleagues got one when they first came out. I figured the batteries were too small. For some reason most of the screws require a lot of torque to remove😂Dam guy who zipped em in last time..likely me☝️$39.97 is like 40 dalla to me but that fine plastic ain't no cheap shiz✌😎☯️

Fo shizzle! Cordless screwdrivers really did kinda suck when they first came out and I rarely used them. Battery tech was pretty lame back then too. I’ve still got an old B&D cordless drill with a massive 12V NiCad battery that still works! Doesn’t hold a charge very long but still works

@@BruceLyeg I found a brand new 9.6V battery at Home Depot a few years ago for my 1st cordless 1991 vintage Makita👍🏾😁🤳It still doesn't have the Torque or RPM of my Dewalt but it's a Family heirilume now I guess. I still also have my 19.2V KAWASAKI cordless drill. Ya it was a PepBoys Special Circa early 2000s & it's RYOBI/KAWASAKI GREEN🌵👽🌵I made a KZread video with it a few years ago but I wasn't happy with it so I never posted it. I'll probably re-make it. It should be funny in a goofy way✌😎☯️

Looks handy but seems a kinda big for a 4 volt. I'll bet my snapon 14.4 volt is the same size although the snapon doesn't convert to pistol grip. Of course we all make compromises when adding tools based on the batteries we already have.

My thoughts exactly. It is kinda big and I’m not sure why. The battery isn’t huge and it’s not weak but certainly isn’t gonna be snapping any screws. You’re also correct about the tool choices based on batteries. I’m trying to eliminate different chargers. These just charge with a small cord, I’ve got the Ryobi 18 and 40v charger and also use the Milwaukee M12 stuff. It was also a price decision, for $39 with the battery I wouldn’t really find much in other brands. Maybe when it dies one day I’ll take it apart and see why it’s so big

I’m sure I’m I. The minority, but I would just as soon have the charger just plug into the wall. I don’t have but a couple usb ports I. The shop, and never seem to have a spare adapter when I need one. Other than that…. Looks like a cool tool

  • @BruceLyeg

They're alright for what they are. I only have the flashlight, rotary tool and the screwdriver. Not terribly powerful, kinda feels like the 4V is just barely enough power to run the tools. Stick with the Milwaukee if you already have that many. I just like Ryobi for the huge variety of tools they have and the price.
