I bought one a month ago. Great for around the house stuff, like assembling furniture that's delivered in cardboard boxes to your house. TV stands, end tables, BBQ grills, etc. It's better than a sore wrist from using a hand-held screw driver all day, and it doesn't over drive screws like a traditional drill or impact driver would.
Its like a baby M12 Installation drill/driver. Adorable.
Looks like a great little tool for its intended use. Low torque, slow speed is perfect for those smaller screws and such. Thanks for the video and review brother.
Very helpful. Thanks!
Holy cow!! This is the ultimate PC builder’s tool!
Interesting video for me to watch. I am a professional carpenter and I own only one Ryobi tool . A 4 volt screwdriver that I purchased in I believe 2010, Actually a lithium battery, very slow charging, but I love it. Serves a good purpose. When I need something that will save my wrist for multiple screws it's amazing. Great for cover plates on electric outlets. Still holds a good charge. My one ryobi!

We love hearing these type of stories. Being a professional carpenter, you probably have many more "expensive" tools, but you also have a 10+ year old ~$20 tool that you have a need for. It's not always the biggest, more powerful, more expensive tools; it's the solution to your problem. Thanks for sharing.
That’s a cool tool thx man
If I didn't already have an equivalent.... I'd likely be interested in this tool, or a 90° version would be more applicable to what I normally see on my current job. Sometimes, you really to just be able to pull the trigger at arms length and not need to be concerned with overtorque of a particular fastener.
Disappointed no variable speed control. Very disappointed no torque settings.
See a lot of comments about the pricing. The link provided by the creator gets you the $50 price tag. Pretty impressed at what it can do.

What’s taking Milwaukee waiting for! They already have the usb batteries

They have passed patients and blue prints for many usb tools just waiting for release in a year or 2
I have the previous 4v version and it is very handy for it's intended purposes however the drawback was it only has 18lbs/ft torque. This newer one is over double the torque at 55lbs/ft so looks like I will buy the newer one at the next sale and donate my current one. (EDIT, I THINK THE HIGHER TORQUE IS AN ERROR ON HOME DEPOTS SITE AS ONE MODEL SHOWS THE HIGHER TORQUE WHILE THE OTHER OPTION SHOWS THE LOWER TORQUE)

Yeah, that's a misprint. There is no way this thing has 55 ft-lbs of torque. Thanks for watching.
You're right, that would be great, for the a/c actuators , for a great price. Thank you for sharing this video. Great job!!!😊

Dewalt's can stack the adapters for crazy angles..
Interesting tool, but I don't think I would have a use for it. I'm more curious about their desk vacuum that uses this battery lineup. It's not available in stores at the moment, just online.

Not sure, we haven't reviewed that one yet. thanks for watching.
It's only a single speed, is that right? I have the Bosch installation driver and one thing I love about it is how slow you can go - easy to install screws in soft particle board, for example. If this were able to go really slowly, then I'd be interested. But fixed speed, nah, the Bosch is great.

I have the Bosch instalation driver as well. Its my favorite tool. Use it for everything. I agree 100%......the trigger control is better than any other drill. I can make it go as slow as I like.

@@betods1013 i don't understand why the other guys won't make a variable speed driver in this class. Bosch it is...

This is not comparable to that Bosch installation driver; that's a geat solution and more expensive. This is a much simpler version of that. Thanks for watching.

@@Shoptoolreviews Agreed. This Ryobi is great for DIY. For exampe changing out electrical outlets, fixing cabinets, ceiling fans, etc. I love my Bosch (and several impacts), but I'm getting this Ryobi for the tasks mentioned.

I love my Bosch. The ability to control the speed is great. I might still get this one.
Too bad it doesn’t have a brushless motor! Other than that it looks pretty neat!
I have one of the other Ryobi 4V screwdrivers, and the lack of variable speed makes it worthless for small electronics. Its also not powerful enough for typical fasteners.
actuAlly really cool, does it come in red though 😍

Yes I show $83.00 but has extra batteries. However 70% of Ryobi and other tool brands are not available in Home Depot / other stores there ship to store or ship to your house only. They might make more money if they had them in store.

You are correct, it's a pain sometimes to find a tool in the store, or even get it to you. By the way, we just changed the link in the description. You should have a $49 option now. The link is from the RYOBI site, but it should put it in your Home Depot cart at $49 (instead of $83). www.ryobitools.com/products/details/33287220700

I'm annoyed because the regular lithium screwdriver I just bought just went out of the return period and I would of gotten this instead if I knew it was coming out
$50? Showing up as $83 for me

Try the link below, and we changed it in the description. When we started filming, there were options, but those options were not available once we published. Anyway, this link should work. It starts at the RYOBI site, but it should put it in your HD cart for $49. Sorry about that. Thanks for watching. www.ryobitools.com/products/details/33287220700

Can’t even find it on the Home Depot app yet
Considering how weak sauce some of Ryobi’s screwdrivers were in the past, I actually think this thing was pretty torquey for a single cell 3.7V tool.
@Shoptoolreviews
5 ай бұрын
It is definitely torquey for a 3.7V, but it does have limitations. it's not going to drive a 3" screw or tighten a nut to 25 ft-lbs. Seems great for a tool in your desk or for disassembling electronics and interior pieces. Thanks for watching.

@@Shoptoolreviews Oh for sure, And thanks for making great videos!
Didn't know Ryobi was making tools for the ladies, it's that special 👩🔧 🤣
Hopefully they added more power to these things cuz the ryobi has no power in those 18650 with sleeve on it. I got last years model with no heads and it was good for basic stuff but anything more nah
Maybe $30-40 at best but $83? Lol ryobi got me fu**ed up

They have a $49 kit, and it was available when we started filming. However, once we published the video, that kit was no longer available, just the $83 and higher kit. Keep your eye out on HD, and they should have the cheaper kit available. Thanks for watching.

Actually, try this link and see if it puts the $49 kit in your cart. Seems like a weird way to do it, but it seems to work. www.ryobitools.com/products/details/33287220700
No brushless motor, no bit locking, no driver angle rotation. AkA: trash.
Na 😂😂😂
This is Garbage!
Waste of money
I think I need a new tool💯😚🤌👏👏👏👏👏
