Yes, it should have. Good thing I have an impact wrench to fix it.

Thanx man! I had to detach the tension handle to make the holes line up with enough room. The instructions said to mount it with 1/2 inch thick material but I’m snowed in. I briefly considered gluing up a bunch of cardboard, but then I found your video and saw the position of the screw and made it fit. Thanx again! 😎

Miter saws sure are handy. I addition to wall framing I cut up smaller framing for building cabinet drawers and then cut flooring planks to fit a few hundred feet of basement space. I carry it outside for most work as even hooking up a shop vac and a dust collector it still throws some sawdust around.
