After reviewing every punter in college football, I am pleased to announce that Ryan Rehkow of BYU is the 2022 Spec Ops Pro-Style Punter of the Year. With his hang-time to distance ration, directional punting & size/athleticism combination, it shouldn't be a surprise that this guy is a future NFL punter.
The purpose of this award is to bring attention back to the art of pro-style punting and shine line on the future of NFL special teams. Spec Ops is about developing future NFL specialists, and I believe Ryan Rehkow is a great example for young punters with NFL aspirations. Congrats to Ryan and the BYU staff for developing a great talent!
