@@TonymanCS If Putin were to really invade, he wouldn’t have waited weeks to do it unless postponed for whatever reason. Also he would’ve rest assured that the media isn’t too aware of this, this isn’t how Putin works. This buildup clearly has another purpose but that’s a conversation you’re not ready for. The west is simply benefiting from this. This was happening last year and there weren’t as many news reports as there are now.

Well….that was probably because that border needed to be secured; but it’s wide open thanks to joe brandon.

Strange there is no tactic here, they just let everybody know what they are doing how they are preparing and while letting everyone else get prepared for what they are planning to do. Like giving several weeks notice. I don’t get it but I would want a tactical advantage by moving everything over at once and moving in sooner than later.

It's all about the military industrial complex wanting to make $$$ . The inflation has been happening way before the pandemic. Prices are higher than that for soda . $1 bill is going to collapse , the federal reserve thinks it can fight inflation by only raising rates to 1 or 2 %. That's like telling someone I only have a quarter of gas in my car in gas tank. But don't worry you can drive from east coast to west coast without stopping for gas. Not going to work .

@@hmongguyful Ever since the Russian-supported separatist movement in 2014, in which Russia essential annexed parts of eastern Ukraine, I doubt you could convince anyone living within the country that Russia is not a looming threat. And Russia may very well be a looming threat, as far as I know Russia's involvement in the separatist movement hadn't been provoked by the Ukraine or western forces. Unless you consider the expansion of NATO across Europe which might have encouraged Russia to put more territory between Europe and it's capital.

It's just that we (Russians) are a very patient people, including our president, and he gives Biden a chance to resolve this issue peacefully, for this Putin recently held meetings with the heads of states that are members of NATO. But there is a limit to any patience, and then I am afraid to imagine the consequences for NATO member countries, including the United States. But most of all it will be a pity for ordinary peaceful people who are not to blame for anything.

You're thinking right, it's true. Biden has a very bad rating, many people don't like him even in your country, and in order to change the situation, someone dictates to him what decisions should be made. And people's lives are not important to him (both the American military on the borders of Russia, which are a bargaining chip for him, and the lives of Russians and Ukrainians)

In a way we have an obligation to help prevent a hostile takeover. So if Russia is planning an invasion its the duty of the US to prevent that. The US has been trying to promote peace for ever. And if that means defending another country then so be it.pur border is a non-factor compared to Russia taking territory.

Imagine if we built up troops along our southern border. That will certainly send a strong message to would-be migrants.

The US should stay away from getting involved in the crisis between Ukraine and Russia, why want to be a hero ... and put the US people at risk. don't underestimate the Russian capabilities, maybe their rockets can reach US soil.

What likes of Putin only understand is an argument of power. You wont be able to talk to him, discuss or start politics. Especially not when he is on better position. Can't blame Russia in this matter - how would Americans feel if Mexico or Canada would one day be aligned with basically an enemy alliance (NATO) that can have troops & weaponry permanently positioned in your backyard. Putin doing what he has to. The American government would be thrilled to have NATO there - will never happen.

NATO isnt Russias enemy. Russia wants to make NATO its enemy thats the issue. He created this mess for no reason other than pride. NATO is a defence alliance, its never invaded or attacked anyone. Iraq in 2003 was not a NATO operation so dont even bring that up.

The U.S. financially supports anti-Russian sentiments in the countries on Russia's borders and within Russia itself. If you don't see this, you have a vision problem. Where is the friendly spirit here? Would you agree to have a gun pointed at your window? It would probably be better to have it away from your house, no matter how much you are told that it is peaceful.

The US already has, Cuba has been a socialist state loyal to USSR since the 50s. The difference is that no state in the world wants to join Russia over NATO and the russians knows that.
