Abrams was designed to have an autoloader, but the reason why it still has a manual loader is because they wanted to keep the firing rate high and easier to change from APFSDS round to HE round. The autoloader of T-72 has 6 seconds to load, while Abrams with its manual loader only needs 3 or 2 seconds and that's a lot of difference. Tanks with autoloaders are also more narrow, making the crew less flexible. However, the autoloader if designed correctly can be more advantageous. The Japanese Type 10 autoloader is as fast as the Abrams manual loader or half of the T-72 autoloader. Unlike Abrams, the Type 10 can maintain its reloading speed as the Abrams loader can get exhausted, reducing the reloading time.

M1-150 is in not a battle tank like M1-Abram that has 120 mm gun. M1-150 is designed for clearing mines and explosives

The Breacher is well armed against another Breachers Armament: 50 cal machine gun. But not against a roaming T-72, or even a $500- FPV

ABVs are less armored. None of the uke Abrams have chobham armor either. Shooting something that can't shoot back isn't that impressive

'a unique M1 Abrams', I wouldn't really call it unique, it's just an engineering tank, and while it is still very armored, it's not meant for fighting. The fact that it uses the M1 Abram chassis is more the fact that it's readily available so it can be more easily repaired. There is nothing surprising about it being destroyed in a single shot from a near-peer MBT, mainly because the M1150 doesn't have the same kind of armor package, it was built to withstand IED and landmines exploding in front of it, not a direct shot. Aside from that, there is a reason it's a retired platform even by the Marines now, in 2019 it was determined to stop using them and in 2023 they were completely and subsequently approved for sale to other countries like Australia, which means it won't have the depleted uranium making it's chobham armor far less effective. There is nothing surprising about an engineering vehicle being taken out by direct tank fire, it just means it was out of position likely because Ukraine is being given tools they don't know how to use. Meanwhile Russia is trying to brag about taking out an Abrams but it doesn't even have a gun lol

Ukraine Tankers are not really verse in fighting tanks period. This war is not armor on armor more less drones. But Ukraine tactics dont fit western doctrine. Simply put you have a engineer tank out clearing a road by its self. You just set yourself up for failure. Every single M1 was taken out by its self no support. Its a Tank not a space ship. Its always three layers before you move on a objective or prep your battle space. The lepards and M1SA and bradley are interneworkable so use them as such. Use your drones to fix your enemy push up your assets communication is key eyes in the sky and on the ground. One more problem is ukraine has little experiance on fixing the emeny and adapting to ground conflict. They are doing fine holding off russia because the use of drones and russia old way of fighiting. Ukraine needs to learn more ground manuvers and communication. Its a team of assets and cross talk. command and control thats where ukraine is lacking. I wish I could sighn up to be a platoon SGT I only need 4 tanks and two bradlys

@@kanestalin7246 its not... a simple Google search would show you this. They are almost 1.6 tons lighter than early models of the Abrams. Just Google M1150 Assault breaches, this convo is stupid when everyone can see the shit for themselves with a simple google search. Stop spreading misinformation.
