Wes Keeley Sounds exactly like the Geddy Lee tone!
Amazing bass' tone and performance. Thanks for sharing.
Nice right hand style! Great performance!
Mr. Brooks this sounds excellent you make this old man sound bad. Keep playing , dont give up like I did when I was your age. I'm close to hanging it up because of my dexterity in my hands. Good luck , God Bless.
That tone... hell yeah!
Only one word I can say: AMAZING😆😉!!!
Excellent cover!
Fuckin' hell.... WOW!
Love it 👍🏻
Man you nailed the tone and feel! Are you using a Sans Amp? Nice Job. You are incredibly talented. Keep sharing your gift with the people!
amazing good 👌
Wow! I play the drums and would love to play this out with you playing the bass? You surely have things well in place and are soaring to new heights, I am sure that you can play the phone book of music in any genre?
Very clean - again great tone. Did you sample the opening 'sweep' sound or recreate it? It looks like you've got a moog box for the lead sound (or is it a sample?) - did you build the sound yourself? I was first a keyboard player but for some reason haven't played keys to their songs. Curious to learn more about your set up. Also, gotta ask - how many instruments do you play? You kill on guitar and bass - are you as strong on keys? Absurd skills amigo.

Very cool. I wonder if there are some VST plug ins out there for the OP and Moog. I was using ProTools one but it's so limited that I'm trying reaper. Good thing about Reaper (so far) is you can record the post-effect guitar from Guitar Rig and it naturally tracks midi input back to the keyboard that is the source - very handy shortcut. Still, miss some of the killer PT synth sounds. Thanks again!

Jeez, you've been incredibly helpful. I checked those out and they look pretty cool. I still have my Roland Juno 106S - might take a crack at a moog-ish sound with it. Be well.
Amazing cover! congratulations, is that the squier vintage modified jazz bass 70'??, i'm about to buy one. Greetings!

Chester cheetah: it ain't easy being cheesy.
nice one dude.. only a question, are you using a sansamp DI for your bass??.. cheers

How did you get the keyboard sounds?

I used a vst plugin called OP-X Pro II clone for the sweeping synth. For the synth solo, I used a Moog Slim Phatty.

@@cisdrc218 Mostly everything is from the internet. A lot of what I know about Rush is from reading and watching interviews with the band.
anyone know what strings those are?
